Beautifully made heavy weight kilt pin will keep your kilt from sharing the family secret. A nice size pin for on your tartan, or even just on your jacket. Sturdy pin will keep even heavy weighted wools closed and is easy to use. AWESOME VALUE!

Extremely nice and large pin for a fantastic price. Just right to wear with your ren faire outfit, hold a shawl in place or even decorate a hat or hold drapery in place. Surprisingly good quality for the price point and it definitely makes a visual statement on your outfit. Very attractive and attention getting.

My girlfriend had this to say: I am very impressed with this large metal pin. It is very well made - and the sculptural/carved elements have a lot of character. I assume the pin is machine made - but honestly it feels like it was crafted by hand. The pin on the back is pretty hefty - so I would not use it with garments other than heavy woolens or loosely knit or crocheted garments or scarves. I assume the pin is intended for use with a heavy men's kilt or cape or something along those lines. The heaviness of the pin for me is a plus - because it provides beautiful decor in my home.

Firstly, this is HUGE! A wonderful statement piece! I got it to use with headwraps rather than kilts but the size makes it wonderful for the purpose. The pin is larger so I tend to use as more of a slide here than a PIN per se, but still a wonderful addition. SOLID construction, metal is heavy duty but still pretty light considering. and it is statement but also basic. I LOVE IT!

I collect these kind of kilt pins for fun and the occasional Robert Burns poetry festival. This one is rather larger than others I own, I would say in size it is about the diameter of a coke can. It is well made, the finish is applied well and the construction is good. I really appreciate the long, large pin and the easy closing latch, it makes for much easier kilt pinning. It has a brass colored undermetal color, where the antiquing does not cover. Lastly, the stag and thistles look good, not distorted. It would make a good gift, although it would have to be boxed and wrapped, but good for anyone of Scottish descent.

This is a nice sized pin about the size of a belt-buckle or drink coaster. A bit larger than most kilt pins I've worn in the past. The pin / clasp is also horizontal, not vertical. Not sure how that will hold the kilt flap closed. It seems to let the kilt flaps move around a lot more than the vertical ones that I am used to.The brass-colored finish gives a nice antique look. The stag's head i a a bit primitive in style. If that's what you are looking for, it fits the bill nicely.

I wear an Irish kilt and accessories to the Renaissance Fair every year when the weather gets warm, and I was in need of some accessories. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this Scottish elk brooch.
