This hat is very thin and lightweight making it very comfortable to wear in warmer weather. It protects my head and neck and cools.

This hat is very thin and lightweight making it very comfortable. My head is slightly larger than the largest dimension they give at 23.2 inches, I am actually 23.5 inches and there was plenty of room to spare. The hat looks nice and has good coverage, I would order this brand again.

This is very light weight and covers your neck completely. You can fold it up and put it in your pocket. This worked very well on a trip we took where it was very sunny and hot.

When I put this on and looked in the mirror, I said, "I'm I the foreign legion." It has that look.The hat is very lightweight. It's made quite large, but the pull cord in the back is easy to adjust and allowed me to get the hat to where it fit well. On me, the back flap comes down to an inch or so below the bottom of my neck. it covers my ears quite nicely. The band is fairly thick and should absorb sweat well. The brim is slightly wider and a bit longer than a normal baseball cap. The fabric is light and breathable.The only problem with it is that it might blow off in high winds since it doesn't have a chin strap. However, if you tighten the back pull enough, you probably won't have a problem.All in all, this is a very nice sun hat. Recommended.The only odd thing is that it comes packaged in a heavy plastic, really thin, square box. Way more packaging than this light little hat needs. They could just put it in a light, plastic bag and it would be fine.

Very thin fabric. The beige inserts are breathable, you can blow air trough. The rest is is like water-proof and air tight. Overall very simplistic. The brim is not as long as I imagined although it is 2 3/4" as listed.Overall, below expectation.

... for this type of hat (I own quite a few) but a bit better (less expensive) than many such hats, while maintaining a good quality upon initial inspection. Perfect for the beach, mowing grass, or any outdoor activity where maximum sun protection is needed. It's so light that you may not notice that you're wearing it, at least not insofar as weight is concerned, and you can fold the neck flap up at night or when not needed.For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Got a Charlie Brown head according to my wife, but still fits good. Excellent sun coverage. Like that the neck as well as the ears are protected from sun. Hopefully will not fall apart in the wash, for less than 15 bucks will be happy to purchase each summer. Super lightweight, may use it for a running hat.
