When I unpacked these Rubber Ducky board shorts/swim trunks, my first thought was: "Oh No. These are HUGE!" Then I tried them on, thinking that I had made a mistake ordering Large, which was based mainly on the Size Chart (see the product page) as well as an Amazon recommendation. I usually wear Medium, but my waist size (32-34) was categorized as Large rather than Medium on the Size Chart.I like the colors and Rubber Ducky pattern, with flashes of bright yellow. I also appreciate the compression lining. The fabric itself is lightweight and made from polyester and spandex, so it should dry quickly after being in the water.The waist cord is smaller and thinner than any other waste cord I've ever seen on swim trunks or board shorts. I can imagine it breaking during watersports or disappearing within the waist. Before wearing these boardshorts, I'll definitely replace the waist cord with an extra cord that I have for lost or broken cords on hoodies. Details count.

These swim trunks are super comfortable and they do not weigh you down when wet. The built-in compression shorts are great. I like that. The length is at the knee. Great for summer!

These swim trunks are perfectly comfortable and made of a very soft material. The stretchy fabric allows for easy movement, making them ideal for swimming or lounging. I like the length of these shorts as well as the fit. I made sure to follow the size chart when ordering. I look forward to wearing these at the lake and pool this summer.

Right away, out of the box I was impressed by how soft these trunks were. My past swim trunks have usually had a kind of stiff fabric used for the outer shell, but the material used here had a very comfortable feel to it. The liner is even softer than the shell, which makes them even better. I was also pleased to discover that the fit was exactly what was stated. I often find that sizes seem to be smaller than published, especially in the larger sizes, but not here. The elastic in the waist can be stretched to approximately 125% of the relaxed circumference.The draw string is fed through the waistband in the usual way, but it also feeds through metal grommets in the front to make the ends accessible from outside on the front. The grommets make this completely optional in case you prefer to tie it inside instead. The interior of the front pockets are made of mesh for effective drainage and big enough for small items like a locker key. One of my favorite features is a back pocket with closable flap. This pocket has a regular fabric interior and has plenty of room for an ID and a little cash (in a waterproof baggie or the like). The flap is held closed by velcro to keep everything in, which is awesome.Finally, I decided to go with the American flag option and I think it looks great. It has color but still remains somewhat subdued and low key with faded stars and stripes on a dark blue background.All-in-all, I think this is a good pair of swim trunks.

The short is super comfortable to the point where I wear them to the gym or to run errands also. The material seems to be of good quality and the compression liner has held up very well not stretching at all, and the length is longer than normal trunks which I appreciate. When used for swimming the trunks dry quickly. Very happy with these and would recommend!
