I bought this to replace the faulty switch on my Mr. Heater Little Buddy 3800. Its was easy enough to diagnose. Pilot light wouldn't stay lit. 7 total screws holding the plastic handle together. Replaced the faulty switch with this item and the unit works just fine. Stinks that i had to buy 2, but better than tossing my heater away.

My pilot light wouldn't stay on, so I contacted Mr. Heater. They advised me that it was the tip/spill sensor or thermalcoupler. I bought this to replace my tip/spill sensor for my Mr. Heater Portable Buddy (Model MH9BX). The descriptions state that it would work for my particular heater, but I had to make some modifications. In the first picture, you will see a small sensor with 2 blade connectors that are not being used. This is the original tip/spill sensor that came with the heater. The much larger sensor is the one that I ordered. The mounting is completely different from the original. I used a right angle bracket (Simpson Stong Ties) to hold the new sensor in place. It was a bit of work, but the heater is working fine now. If you are somewhat handy and willing to make some modifications, this sensor will work.

Used these to fix my dual burner Mr. Heater that wouldn't stay lit. The voltage that goes through the switches is so small. In the millivolts range. Be sure that the connectors are clean and a tight fit.

Thought I was out a couple hundred bucks as one of my tower heaters would not light. Other one only worked with certain propane tanks. After some youtube watching and trial / error to fix it I stumbled on these. After install towers both turned on first try. Have had zero problems since

Read online that that the most common fault for a patio heater that ignites but won’t stay lit when you let go of the button is the dump (tilt) switch needs replacing. This is the exact part for my paramount patio heater. Replaced part easy peasy! (I’m a 70 year old woman). Works perfectly!! Look up the video on YouTube.
