I've successfully maintained kombucha and health scoby for years and am happy because it's so darned expensive at the store. That said, this product is different because it's powdered form, blended with some other supplements including but not limited to rhodiola, ginseng and reishi. I find the product is easy to use with spring or distilled water and I personally find it tasty. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my energy with this product which made me happy because I was uncertain at first about the efficacy of powder and above all I love the convenience of the tub. Buy with confidence!

I had a bad suspicion this powdered kombucha would contain a "new" sweetener and it sure does, embedded way down in the fine print on the ingredients list; I know these manufacturers put those in to keep the calorie and carb count down, and that customers younger than me are rather obsessed with these things, but stevia ruins the flavor IMO. It's not a good trade off.I am used to bubbly kombucha; I think adding a mixer to this might make it more like the type you buy at the store. With stevia though, ouch. No, this product isn't for me.

I tried this in coffee - didn't like the sweetness, but it wasn't unpalatable. I added it to my homemade yogurt where I add spices and fresh frozen fruit, and it was wonderful! It doesn't overpower any of the other flavors, and there is noticeable fizzing when it meets the whey in the yogurt. I didn't notice any change in the texture of the yogurt. This is a nice way to get some extra nutritional benefits without much effort.

I'm a kombucha fan, so I wanted to try this kombucha powder. I figured it would be easier to just mix it up when I want it. I tried mixing it with cold water, and it tasted interesting. It's definitely not like your typical kombucha. It's got a bit of a tangy, almost earthy flavor. It's not bad, but it took a little getting used to.I like that it's got all those adaptogens like ashwagandha and rhodiola. I'm hoping they'll help with stress, but honestly, it's hard to tell if they're making a huge difference. The best thing is how easy it is. Just mix it with water, and you're good to go. At $29.99 for 40 servings at the time of this review, it's not a bad deal. If you want something with adaptogens that's easy to make and portable, it's worth a shot.

Easy to add into food and drinks. Taste is about a 7 on scale of 1-10 1 being absolutely repulsing and 10 being the best dessert of your life. So in other terms decent flavor. The container is pastic that’s short round, has a wide mouth making scooping out the powder easy and mess free. One downside is it’s not fizzy like a store bought drink is. I think I miss that when I drink it but if I mix it my yogurt I don’t want it fizzy. Double edge here. Can’t have it both ways.

I'm a big fan of kombucha, though not a fan of most commercial offerings that replace all of the delightful acidity with added fruits and sweeteners. (I miss early kombucha, with nothing but a sour black tea flavor.) This mix is a really tasty return to how kombucha should taste, along with other adaptogen ingredients. I find it to be a really nice blend, with the sour kombucha up front and an aftertaste with a mix of earthiness, sweetness, and spice. I drink a glass of kombucha daily, from a variety of dry mixes, and this is definitely a nice one to build into the rotation.

As with any dietary supplement, it's difficult or impossible to substantiate the health claims but I really like the taste. It starts off mellow and has a strong aromatic finish that I can only describe as rosewater maybe. There's a lot of stuff in here -- ingredients known for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).It dissolves easily in cold water, and I sometimes put it in seltzer for that authentic kombucha experience. Serving suggestion is to use 1 teaspoon to 8 oz of water, but I use less than that and it still tastes great -- about half a teaspoon to a 16 oz tumbler filled with ice. Normally, I hate the taste of stevia, but it's not noticeable in this formulation. It's sweet without being overpowering and has the right balance of tartness. As suggested you get 40 servings per jar, but since I use less than that, I can stretch it much further. Made in Canada.

Easy to mix and the taste isn't bad. It doesn't taste like any kombucha I've tried but that's okay, it tastes more like a semi sweet tea that had been flavored with an artificial sweetener, if that makes sense, what I'm trying to describe is the difference between drinking a sweetened tea you make at home versus one you buy at the store, it tastes closer to what you would buy. I can't speak for the effects just yet but I don't think I'll have a problem drinking it.

I’ve been buying carbonated kombucha drinks on Amazon recently ($60 for 24x330 ml cans), and this is a much more affordable option at $45 for 40 servings. I was a bit skeptical of the taste when I saw the colour (a bit like an iced tea, but murkier); however, it tastes great! Because it’s not carbonated, it kind of reminds me of juice. It may be an acquired taste for some. The directions say to use 1 tsp, or 5g, of mixture per 250 mls of water. I find this is definitely enough; however, the mix is still good — and tasteable — with more water. I went up to 450 ml and still enjoyed the beverage. It mixes well and there were no lumps or residue. All in all, this is a great addition to my newfound kombucha habit, as it’s more affordable than other options and is definitely a healthier drink than those (including juice) that have so much added sugar. I will purchase again!

[PROS] 👍✔Instant mixability, the taste is exceptionally good in flavor✔Enhances energy levels and clarity immediately after consuming✔Made from natural ingredients with a transparent ingredients list[CONS] 👎✘ During my review, I was unable to find any issues with this product. In the event I discover something in the future, I will update this review.[PRODUCT EXPERIENCE] ★ ★ ★ ★ ★👉The Mental Fuel Adaptogen Kombucha Instant Powder is currently priced as $44.99 at the time of this review. I have been drinking kombucha for about 2 years now and cannot go a day without consuming it. What brought up to kombucha initially was acid reflux and stomach discomfort. Kombucha is naturally made drink potent ingredients that assist with gut health digestion which has help me over come my acid reflux. Having the ability to try the powder form, I had to order it.The power mixes instantly in water and actually tastes really good. The ingredients are natural derived and sweetened with Stevia which is one of the first ingredients I look for on labels - either Stevia or Monk Fruit. I can immediately feel the effects after consuming a drink. The powder form is different in a sense whereas I feel mental clarity and focus, while the Kirkland Kombucha I regularly consume focuses more on stomach/gut health - both are fantastic but have different effects. Will I order again? Absolutely. Once I finish this review/sample container, I plan to reorder because I am highly satisfied.

I like Kombucha, but I'm careful about drinking sweetened drinks. Those that are sweetened with sugar spike glucose levels and can trigger an insulin response. However, other drinks, such as this sweetens with sugar alternatives to avoid a glucose response, but those sugar alternatives sometimes have other negative health outcomes. This Kombucha powder uses a sugar alcohol called Erythritol as its primary sweetener, and then also adds Stevia, a plant extract, as its last ingredient; since products sweetened with only Stevia tend to have an unpleasant aftertaste.Although I like the intent behind this product, I hesitate to use it on a regular basis because of the use of Erythritol as its primary sweetener. Erythritol is popular amongst those following a Keto diet because it passes through the gut undigested and allows them to stay in ketosis. However there have been some studies that suggest it might cause adverse health outcomes when taken in quantity, but more studies are needed to further evaluate this claim. This is why many are careful about using it on a regular basis, or some avoid it altogether.I would suggest that the manufacturer should consider an unsweetened version of this Kombucha powder and allow people to add their sweetener of choice. My personal preference would be to use a bit of raw honey, but others might pick something else.

MentalFuel Adaptogen Kombucha is an easy to mix powder that helps your gut while improving your mental state. This is the second time I've tried MentalFuel and I do prefer this blend over my previous one.Just add a half teaspoon to water and mix. It blends quick and easily. Unlike normal Kombucha, MentalFuel's powder Kombucha does not contain the carbonation. At just 10 calories per serving it's a pretty guilt free drink. The taste is good but I find you do notice the flavors of the adaptogens. The way I'd best describe it is a familiar traditional Chinese herbal medicine type of scent. I'm fine with it but figured I'd give a sort of heads up about it.My can of MentalFuel Adaptogen Kombucha has a best before of Oct 1st of 2026. I feel that's plenty of time to consume the 40 servings that this can has to offer. If you like Kombucha, want to improve your gut microbiome, or want something that gives you a bit of a pick me up in the middle of the afternoon I'd recommend giving this a try.
