the wood flakes quite a bit, theres quite a bit of prep work to do to have it ready for art and crafts, dont even consider skating these. As far as painting on them the only plus about the wood quality is its incredibly light weight so I have hung them with the weakest system I have which is string hanging from a push pin. Be prepared to sand and primer them.

Cheap not cool buy something else you will be better off. Not pro sk8 boards like they say. Kids knock off at best.
