You have to activate with UV light, but it does wrong for rings that can slip off your finger. Easy to use. Tip is right size for most ring bands to apply. Doesn't make a mess when applying.

This system is easy to use and can easily make a ring a size or two too large fit better. The needle tip makes it easy to put a tiny fine line of the gel/solution on the inside of the ring. The solution has no strong odor, and the UV light is simple to set up. You almost need a power pack to use it, though; it only comes on when plugged in to power, there is no battery to charge. What I liked best is that the solution, before being hardened by exposure to UV, isn't sticky like super glue - it's very easy to wipe off with alcohol. The ring holder was awkward to use - I did better holding the ring in my fingers to cure the gel. I am deducting one star because the solution in the kit I got had leaked and there was very little left in the bottle.
