LOVE these pants. I am 6 foot tall and 185lbs. I ordered the large for the extra inch in length but if not for that, would be tempted to order medium. I have just ordered my second pair. I wasn't sure the pants would be long enough for me -I am SO over the high-water look, but the length on these were great and I didn't even need to take out and lower the hem.The pant material is super soft for a chef pant, but still substantial and durable enough. The pocket options and placement are fabulous as well with various locations for me to store my phone, notepad, sharpies and keys without looking all lumpy. I have not put these pants in the dryer yet, but I have washed them and they have held up well. These pants are a good blend of professional, yet feminine styling for the kitchen.Cons -Unfortunately, I do have to agree with an earlier comment regarding the waist and the drawstring -the drawstring is pretty flimsy and I am not sure how long it will be before I'll need to put in a different / stronger string. So far it has held. I have worn these pants probably 15 times already and washed them twice. Secondly, because the fabric is so comfy and a bit softer, the pockets may begin to sag a bit earlier than I would like and then give an overall less professional appearance quicker than I might like -to be determined. So far though, the pros are far outweighing the cons on this pant -even if I may have to buy them a bit more frequently.

Very nice fit ... light weight not too heavy. A little too long wish they had length to choose from but willl have them altered. Other than that very nice pants.
