The Flo-Torq II hub kit makes it possible to use Mercury propellers on nearly all recreational marine engines. The system is designed to resist slippage, but will flex during engine shifting. It also cushions the drivetrain in the event of an impact.

Well it's about time Merc made a solid piece hub kit. I've gone through several in the past 5 years. Prop shop doesn't like the 2 piece either. So far so good.NOTE: Check the prop blow out ring when you replace the hub!! That plastic ring that sits inside the OD housing. Caused major headaches with ventilation/prop spin where motor would increase rpm at mid range and lose speed. 3 buck part fixed it.

Exactly whats described. Nice to have an extra hub kit when changing props. Its really a pain to pull these the black plastic sleeve out of one prop and put it into another.....best to just have the prop ready to go with the black plastic insert all ready to go. Why waste time when your out on the water supposed to be having fun. Id call this kit the "fun time saver".
