Be aware merino wool is delicate, so you need to use the delicate cycle when putting this shirt into your washer.My wife loved this shirt and she wore it often. Holes did develop but the seller was very understanding and offered a complete refund. Great customer service!

I wore this under a Columbia 1/2 zip and Columbia parka for day outings in Finland. Shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. It was light enough that I didn’t overheat when indoors but was warm enough that with my other layers I didn’t freeze. It is an added bonus that it came with thin merino wool socks. A real deal since other brands are more expensive and don’t include the socks.

I do love, love, love merino wool. It is the perfect fabric for regulating temperature as it breathes so well. This one does not disappoint. It's lightweight and is easily layered under another sweater/cardigan/jacket. It looks nice enough though if you need to peel off the layers. Fits nicely as I bought my typical size, and washes up well. I do line dry it. Would recommend.

Nice thin base layer that adds a layer of warmth. I found the sizing to be on the smaller side, but it is meant to conform to your body. The bonus socks were a nice touch.

This is beautiful material. Came with free socks as well. Fabrics feel quality and not too thick or thin. I am wearing as underlayer for winter that are keeping me warm on the East Coast. Fit is true to size I wear large and got a large. Color is nice.I am also truly so happy with the company for having sustainable paper packaging and absolutely no plastic! Kudos to them! I highly recommend supporting them!I know I will be looking for more of their products because they seem to care about their products and the Earth!

I need to start by saying, I can't wear wool, it's too itchy for me. However, this is Fine Merino Wool, so it's NOT itchy, in case you were wondering. Merino wool can be worn in winter and summer, it doesn't make you hot and the fabric does not hold odors that come from sweat. This is a base layer, it's meant to be underneath something else, it's on the thinner side and yes, if you have pets it's a hair magnet. I liked the socks that were included but I thought it odd that they weren't black like the picture indicated but gray with a black stripe at the top. Good quality, I'm happy.

I ordered this product for myself - I love to wear wool products, especially in winter. They are warm, without being bulky, and if the wool is a decent quality, they do not itch at all. I purchased this base layer with the intention of wearing it as a turtleneck, rather than layering it, so I went a size up so it wouldn't be skin tight.The product arrived well-packaged and undamaged, in a paper container that would be good for gift-giving. A free pair of merino socks was included with purchase; I received a light grey pair. They are thin, which I prefer, but I don't love the color (would have preferred charcoal grey or black). But it was a free pair of socks, so whatever. The base layer itself is a pretty navy color. It is cut with some shaping to it, so it hangs nicely rather than being shapeless. The neck isn't too tight and the sleeves are the right length. I have a long torso, but the shirt isn't too short on me. It's beautifully warm and not itchy at all. I plan to wear it for casual events and around the house.
