I have a large donkey with Equine Cushings and she absolutely refuses to eat these pellets. We tried everything we could think of. We mixed it with other types of feed. She would lick the apple sauce off the pellets and spit them out. The pellets would probably work for someone with a more cooperative patient.

I gave this 3 starts simply because my horse won't eat them pellets. No matter how I disguise them with other food, sugar, etc. she just won't eat this.

I have an 8 year old mule with Equine Metabolic Syndrome. I have tried every supplement imaginable with no obvious results. For her size, she needs 4 scoops of this product daily. That means a tub lasts two weeks. A month's supply costs over $300. I tried it for 2 months (4 tubs) with no visible results. If I saw an improvement, I would probably bite the bullet and continue with this supplement. But, it's just too expensive to not see noticeable results. None of the ingredients are expensive, so I don't understand why this supplement costs so much. It is very palatable. I'll give it that. But, that's about the only good thing I can say about it.

Disappointing. Complete waste of $150. Buyer beware

My vet prescribed this for my horse and donkey. I could buy heroin cheaper. Also who chose the bucket? It's so painful to open I have to keep gloves in my feed room.

I don't see improvement in my horse. Have tried 2 tubs, and have decided not to re-order because it calculates at $300 with our Canadian exchange.Would consider if I had seen improvement.
