Purchased this to install T Post fence posts, and it worked great. I could not get it to pound some of the posts in the last inch or so, and had to hand pound those in with a manual driver. However this was in August of a very dry year, in sun baked clay soil, so the ground was like rock. Spring time would have been completely different. It still saved a lot of manual pounding!Battery life was decent given what it doing, love the 36 volt. I have not used it to drill holes in concrete or anything, but I cannot envision there being any issue with that. The only thing I hate is how expensive the SDS Max bits are, but that has nothing to do with this tool.

For a cordless unit it’s unbelievable. Plus with Metabo you can attach the cord… the best

Fantastic for what I use it for, Small demo projects where a cord gets In the way, digging footings where power is nowhere near, etc. Fairy decent on battery usage, though this would be the only thing I’d like improved, but that’s just the nature of heavy power using tools. A must have for me should have bought sooner

Excellent core drill, from Metabo HPT. This is closest to my Bosch corded Bulldog, but more impact energy, as well as a bit more weight to help manage impact energy. I am thoroughly impressed with the newly innovative 36/18 Volt Multivolt corded/cordless tools they are making to go along with their already excellent 18v tools i own. I really wish they would bring their Hikoki Leaf blower, and weed trimmer stateside ASAP!
