I'm not impressed with this item. I put my jewelry on the floor and it won't recognize it has gold. It only picks up basic metals

I ordered this metal detecting shovel to use with my metal detector. This scoop is great when metal detecting at the beach or in shallow water. Actually, I like using this metal detector scoop in almost all types of soil. I have been using a metal detector for awhile, but it is just not as much fun if you don’t have all the right tools. This metal detecting scoop is definitely one of those “must-have” tools. This scoop is very well made, and all the corners and edges are smooth. The scoop is very sturdy. It really has held up well when I have been using it around my home, where the soil is very rocky and hard.

This metal detector is awesome for searching at the beach. The drain holes are a great feature that my last metal detector didn't have. It's super sturdy, made well and it's easy to use. It is a bit heavy, which is the only downside. I would still recommend this detector if you're looking to dig in the sand because it's absolutely perfect for that.

This scoop and handle are well made and highly polished stainless steel. I like that the handle comes in 3 pcs for easy storage and transport. I haven’t used it yet but appears to be a good gauge and sturdy.

I can dig targets a lot faster with this sand scoop. I had wanted one for years and finally found this one which I'm very happy with.

Purchased while on vacation, as I forgot my small scoop. The SS is of decent quality, there are some sharp edges but I buffed it with sand paper and smoothed them out. The 2 screws that hold the assembled handle to the scoop are rather junky, once I got home I replaced them with higher quality screws and wingnuts. I was satisfied with its performance, and liked the fact I wasn't constantly stooping over. Good product for the price I paid.
