Really good price considering most other sources charge you about 50% of this just for shipping. Not much to say about it, it’s a 2 inch diameter 12 inch long piece of 6061 extruded aluminum. A lot of things you can make from it so I like to keep some around. Points for an accurate hand model in the product photo.

2" diameter bar, 12" long aluminum 6061, this is a fair price, especially considering it includes shipping.The photo clearly shows a section of bar that has the material type imprinted on the bar - which is typical.Being only 12" long, your specific piece may not have any of the significant information printed on it (mine didn't)The label on the package only showed a portion of the description - and also did not include the metal type or temper in the label.There was no other information in the package - so there wasn't actually any indication that this piece is 6061 or the temper of the piece.While I didn't expect certification on a piece like this, at least adding a sticker, stencil or some other marking would be great - once unpacked, its functionally unmarked.This is fine for less critical uses and hobby work but would be an issue for any documented manufacturing. If you don't mark it while you have it in hand, it would easily be confused with any other unmarked aluminum.Still, its a decent price and seems to be what it says - being Amazon, its super convenient
