This is a shock mount suitable for recording purposes when you have a sensitive microphone like a good condenser microphone. The isolated clamp will hold microphones with a tube diameter of 43-48mm which covered my needs. Recommended

This is a good, medium duty shock mount. The grip is good and doesn't mar the mic's finish. The mic stand fitting, as with many mounts, isn't as robust as I'd like, but will work fine if handled properly. They included a spare elastic band and that's a nice touch. (All elastic bands, regardless quality, wear out at some point.)This mount is great for a stationary setup!Hope this helps!

Cheap mount but it works. Attaches to any mic stand ⅝ or ⅜ thread. Make sure you measure your microphone for fit. This device keeps the rattles and noise from the mic stand from interfering with your audio. Set screw with swivel to align the microphone to your needs.

I needed to replace a shock mount for one of my Studio Projects mics and thought this would do the trick. Silly me, I didn't look at the dimensions of the hole for the mic, and I don't even own a mic that would fit this shock mount. If I did, I'd be super happy with it, and it comes with an extra band! Definitely a great value, since shopping for shock mounts has left me discouraged in the price department. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new shock mount for a 43-48mm mic.

I was doing some live remotes and I needed a simple shock mount. I didn't want to have to tear down studio equipment and put it back together. This was perfect. Not elaborate or a lot of work to set up, but does the job it is intended for. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't use them at the desktop for my studio, if I didn't already have permanent mounts there.

I use this with my desk mic (it's like a blue yeti, but not a blue yeti) and this shock mount works great with the mic and my boom.

It says it is all metal, and I was happy to discover that includes the threaded side of the hinge. I had one of the microphones that is listed as compatible on hand, and it fit in the ring securely. My only concern is the clutch. It needs to be screwed down really hard in order to stay in place. It feels like something that over time will start being less effective, causing eventual slipping. While new though it is holding even while bouncing it with a mic attached. For what they were asking when I ordered I think it is a good value. It also came with one spare elastic.

A well built shock mount that effectively reduces stand and floor vibration noises. The mount itself is entirely made of metal with a nice powder coated finish. You squeeze the spring-steel rabbit ears to expand the mount far enough to insert your mic and when you let go, the rubberized interior of the mount grabs the mic securely. As stated in the description, only mics with a diameter ranging from 43mm to 48mm will fit in it..
