Great cabinet for the price. I even liked the quality. It will be easier to put together if you unlock unit with the key. It prevents the drawers from going in when it's locked. I liked the fact that the metal was a bit thinner than my ancient cabinet. It's easier to move. Very satisfied.

This filing cabinet was easy to put together - about 45 minutes. I'm very happy with the quality - I thought it might be a bit flimsy so was surprised that it's sturdy. The drawers slide in and out easily. Not sure what else to say about a filing cabinet.

Item arrived on time. Started putting together and got two pieces reversed. Down hill from there. NOW the problem began when I could not see tiny little dots on one piece in the instructions. Because of this I had to disassemble everything. Doing this all four feet broke. One tab on one of the hangar bars broke off. Sent email to Seller and it is going on two weeks and still have not heard anything from them. This junk is sitting in the middle of my office now. I will box it up and return to Amazon. Buyer Beware!UPDATE!!!!Seller did reply through Amazon pertaining to the problem. I did not receive the reply. Seller suggested I contact customer support to resolve the issue. Seller offered to replace the defective file cabinet. I had already made other plans so I will return the file cabinet. I don't know where the communication went wrong but Seller responded quickly and responsibly.

This is a nice file cabinet. Of course it isn't going to be a thicker metal bc it was a more affordable price (just remember price always is the clue). But it's a really nice file cabinet honestly. I just didn't want to spend $600 + for a home office file cabinet. I would recommend bc it is still sturdy and was exactly what I was looking for. Hope the pics do it justice. Hubby said no problems with building it at all. Weight was ideal as I helped carry it to the office.

If this is what you’re looking for it does the job. Fairly simple assembly. Metal is ok. Does come with a lock for the top drawer so that’s nice.
