Worked great although the wires for always hot and ignition hot didn't seem to match the schematic for the 1997 Ford I used this on. In the end, everything works fine, stereo turns on and off with ignition start, etc,

Works great wasn’t too hard to install specially since I’ve done a lot of radio wiring since I change out all of my stock radios whenever I get a new vehicle and I’m impressed with the quality of the adapters they weren’t chinsey feeling overall I like them and they are serving their purpose. Keep the good tunes going

Can’t remember if the lines were labled on the actual insulation, but still.Worked great, and the part was out of stock at all my usual audio places. Came faster than my speakers and head unit, wired right up, no problems for over 6 months.97 F350 XL base model, dually if it matters.

There is nothing better than simple plug and play with matching color coded wiring. This kit was absolutely correct for my vehicle as it stated it would be. I confirmed all of my wire color matches and then simply soldered them on to the matching wire colors from the harness that came with the radio. A little heat shrink tubing and a heat gun got everything properly insulated. Smoothest way imaginable to install an aftermarket, no need to hack up your existing wiring harness.

Designed to plug into the factory harness and allow a non-stock radio to be installed without the need to cut into the factory wiring. Simple two connector kit with the speaker wires marked for their location (a real time saver) and a reference chart on the packaging providing information on what each wire does (power, ground, power antenna, radio memory, etc.). As well as the proper slots to only allow them to be plugged into their respective plugs the right way. If you want to replace your Ford/Lincoln/Mercury radio with an aftermarket radio, this will make the job a whole lot easier AND allow you to reinstall the factory radio if you ever need to! Plus, being a Metra product it's well constructed and sold at a price that makes buying off brand versions unnecessary.

I used this in a Ford Focus SVT with the 9006 audiophile w/sub-woofer sound system. This harness adapter set worked great for everything except the steering wheel controls and sub-woofer*. The problem is that there isn't any documentation to show you what orientation the connector mates. I didn't see how it the connectors fit at first, so I called Tech support. They assured me it fit and a few moments on the phone and I was good to go, +1 for good Tech support. The wires were labeled well and the wire list was easy to read.* - This kit doesn't support the steering wheel controls or the sub-woofer in the Ford Focus SVT. What I did to make this work was remove the connector from the non-functioning 9006 audiophile stereo. I soldered the leftover wires from the Metra 70-1770 and the PAC SWI-PS to the old stereo connector. Then I just plugged in the remaining connector for steering wheel controls and Sub-woofer. for Pioneer and Sony stereos, worked well for me.PAC also makes units for other Stereo units. Amazon carries most or all of them.
