This part works great. I have been updating my 2006 Jeep Wrangler and this worked out great to add a touchscreen head unit. I made a bad choice on the head unit but this dash part was a great update.

Dont understand why folks complain about the install; it did requiring some fitting, but thats expected when youre trying to fit a Dbl-Din into a space that was not designed for it. If you watch the videos online on how to install a DDIN unit into a Wrangler TJ, then you shouldnt have any problem.*** Just make sure you are getting the Bezel Model, made for your year vehicle; there are 2 different type available.Shipping was excellant, ordered Monday, said it would arrive in 7 days, got here in 2; THANKS!!!

Looks good and fits very well. I like that it has a top tray similar to the OEM version. The rubber liner fits right in.As others have stated, you will want to take small washers and shim out your heating and AC selector panel for a good fit. Without it you will have about a 1/8" gap.I do wish the side brackets were made of metal. But then it would have to cost more too.

This worked great in my 2005 jeep unlimited Rubicon! It fit a double DIN radio with only minor modification. Most posts and information I have found about the install into a jeep tj dash requires cutting of the inside of the dash. I found that cutting the side brackets instead worked just fine with the particular design of head unit I chose. Ths fit is perfect, and the color matches the interior well. I gave 4 stars because of three things. The back of the panel requires a few little rubber pads, which easily fall off the new panel, i had to super glue them in place. Second, the factory top tray has some rubber grippy coating, whereas this one is just slippery plastic. Third, the hardware to hold that tray in place is not included and I had to use my own screws. I chose some #6x 1/2" sheet metal screws, but they went a little too deep and caused bumps on the top of the panel. Shorter screws (#6 x 3/8") would be better. I would suggest a little lube on the air vents while you have it all apart...maybe beeswax.
