It was snug at first but I figured it out. It looks really well with no gaps.

I had bought another mounting kit and messed it up due to lack of instructions. This arrived and I had it installed 5 minutes later.Don’t mess around. If you have a 2009 Kia, this is the piece you need.

Bought a new stereo and the universal mount didn’t fit. This worked perfectly and was easy to install.

I ordered this to keep on hand while I was trying to the install with the stock DIN parts and the kit that cam with the head unit.First, I tried to the use the kit that came with the head unit; that didn't fit it because wasn't wide enough to reach the mounting the screws. Then I tried to mount it using the parts from the stock auto head unit and the screw holes didn't line up. After a few attempts at drilling the pieces I still couldn't get the new head unit to line up correctly.I finally gave that up and fastened the Metra kit. It snapped together easily and lined up with the mounting screws. It took about a minute to get the new head unit fastened in place.I wish I'd have just started with the Metra kit. I would have saved myself 90 minutes and some aggravation, but it was just so simple it seemed too good to be true.Don't do what I did. Use the Metra kit and don't look back.

Worthless, came with two left brackets and does not fit the radio or the car really. Also does not come with screws.

It is a good product, it shipped quickly and fit decently. I was surprised that the supports that screw into the dash were plastic, but it has held up nicely. The bottom is also a little flimsy, and collects a lot of dust, but it might have been that I mounted it just a little high. Overall good build quality and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't SUPER concerned about build quality. It fit just about perfectly, aside from the bottom being just a touch short of being flush with my dash, and it kind of bends down if you push on it. But it's a good deal for what you pay for. Definitely would buy it again for a friend. It doesn't look bad and it lines up depth-wise just about perfectly without having to mess around. I own an 08 Spectra SX. Just in case anybody was wondering.
