Everything fit on a 2008 Element with the factory double DIN. However, the new trim plate doesn’t sit flush at the top on both sides, so it doesn’t look very good.

The installment kit fits good enough to prevent noticeable gaps. Depending on the stereo brand, some will fit better than others I assume. I used this on a kenwood double din and it doesn't fit seamless but does minimize the gaps around the face of the unit. The front piece of this kit is butted up to the front perimeter of my stereo when pre-assembled. This sets my stereo back a little for an unappealing finish install. It would look nicer flush. It works and good enough for the purpose.

Not too many options out there for the Element.Cons:Fitting this with my Atoto A6, I found the inner bezel to be rather deep - deeper than my other vehicle's double DIN kit. I ended up trimming 4.5mm off the back of this with a dremel to help bring the stereo more flush with the dash.Other than that... the frame itself is a little flimsy, even before trimming. Once bolted to the stereo it wasn't quite square.Pros:Does does the jobComes with a spare trim bezelReasonably priced means you can modify it without being too worriedDecent selection of holes to line up with the stereo

Bought this for a new head unit, the front is way too thick making the knob and buttons way below the rim of this adaptor. I had to do some trimming and sanding to get it to be flush. Afterwords it looks really good.

Fit well on my 2006 Element LX with a sony xav-ax1000. The pics above are with the unit and without it. Clearly, the dash kit is worth shelling out the $13. It did take some finicing to make it fit snug but nothing a regular person couldn't figure out.

Does the job but extremely thin and cheap. Be very careful with the handling process.

I’m very detail oriented and this fit exactly as I hoped. Was really worried after some of the reviews but I had no troubles. Deck was an MVH1400NEX. Grabbed some screws from the Ace Hardware that fit well, attached the 3 pieces (the two sides clip to the deck trim) and then matched up the holes to where I needed them. Took all of 5 minutes. Slid it into the double din slot on the car and attached the second trim piece and it fit perfect. You do need to move the clips from the old trim piece over. So don’t lose those. Also the bottom metal clips don’t reach if you push them all the way down so I left them as high as I could and it snapped right in.It all feels a bit flimsy but I put it in and took it off a few times as I adjusted some wires and it didn’t show any signs of breaking.

Item is slightly smaller than the face of the stereo. Had to take the item and have it installed by a stereo shop to make sure all was installed correctly

Prior to purchasing this product, I called the Metra headquarters in Holly Hill, FL. I asked if this would fit my Jensen VM9424 navigation unit. I was calling because a prior review from a purchaser said this bezel did not fit their Pioneer Navigation unit and gave this product a scathing review and said Metra would not back up their product and he was stuck with it.Metra had multiple email communications with me and each successive email was handled by somebody that clearly did not read my prior emails. We had Todd Davidson who sent the email to Andrew Adkins with a followup by Philip Hine all doing the most nothing as possible. I expressly gave them the face plate measurements of my Jensen unit and still they could not simply tell me if the bezel would fit. I even volunteered to bring them the Jensen unit so they could measure it themselves.I was classified apparently as a difficult customer because I expressed complete dissatisfaction with their inept conduct. Finally out of frustration I bought the unit from a seller on Amazon. The seller shipped fast and did their job BUT THE BEZEL DOESN'T FIT. What does this mean?It means that two of the most popular navigation units, the Pioneer and Jensen won't fit this bezel AND that Metra knew about it before I purchased the unit. That's fraud. This is the old fresh mullet theory at work. Metra figures they have a bunch of these defective malfitting cheapo junk bezels on the market and they just want to unload them on the unsuspecting public.Nobody can say I did not preform careful due diligence. The company's failure to respond to whether the unit would fit, once given precise measurements, and a photo, was intentional and amounted to an affirmation by silence that they knew the part would not fit. They don't stand behind their products and when given sufficient and precise data to know whether their part would fit or not, they intentionally chose to defraud the consumer.Worse, I sent Metra the link to the prior Amazon review so their action to intentionally defraud me was a willful violation of the warranty of merchantability. This part is not wide enough to fit the Jensen. I will saw the cheapo plastic frame in the middle at the top and bottom. I will then increase the lateral measurement by afixment off the Jensen face plate. I will then remove the cheapo bezel and back fill it with epoxy using polyethylene buttresses. I will then sand the part to perfection and topcoat it with molecular bonding plastic paint to texture it.I was willfully defrauded by Metra, a company that will not stand behind its known defective goods; I therefore have a right under the law of Warranty to remedy these non-conforming goods through reasonable means and recoup my expenses and sue for willful misconduct and collect treble damages from Metra.Perhaps the next consumer that calls Metra and asks if a face plate will fit, perhaps they will just give an honest answer "no" rather than taking the dishonest and repugnant path of willful consumer fraud.
