The dash kit is designed to match the original look and feel of the vehicle's dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn't offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.

Kit is very versatile and would have no issues fitting any size head unit you're planning to install. Used this on a 90' Buick Reatta and I found the adapter pieces very handy.

Instructions once you figure it out are simple. Came with way too many extras. Single din looks great.

Couldn’t wait to install this in my 93 S10! Worked pretty good but doesn’t seem as sturdy as I would of liked. Might sure it up some myself somehow. But it works and now I have my tunes. The instructions aren’t that bad but use the page for your vehicle and the last two pages show the rest.

Ik everyone was talking how it comes with extra pieces. Who cares if it has the ones you need. Only thing I didn’t like was the thin metal nuts for the mounts. I broke two. It was either too tight and broke or too loose and I didn’t want them to break or come off in the dash so I went to the hardware store and spend a whole $1.10 on two 8-32 nuts to do it right. If you don’t know which kit to get from them go to Crutchfield and put your info in and order them off here it usually cheaper. Probably faster too, if you have prime that is. Good company used them for every radio swap whether it be here, ebay, or Walmart.

Replacing stereo on an 88 Firebird. The fit is good. Tho the side hooks to hold it in spot needed some cutting to fit.

This kit worked great for my 2001 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I was placing a single DIN head unit where a 1.5 DIN head unit (stock) originally was. You will have a bunch of parts left over in this kit as it is designed for multiple GM vehicles. You only use what you need. One thing I really liked with this kit was that the other GM/Pontiac kits didn't have the support tray for the radio. In this kit, it clips into the face plate surround and provides support to the bottom of the radio since the new head unit is shorter than the stock space. Solves the issue of no support on the bottom of the new head unit due to the extra space.

Does really fit my 3rd gen Camaro. Does really not have a "shelf" or pocket or ledge or cubby hole or anything else that could conceivably be used for placing an item or items for storage. The advertisement was misleading in that there is no shelf. With that being said, it fit my car and my stereo fit in it nicely. I gave it a full 5 stars because, let's face it, nobody else sells one that has a shelf either... And this one does work just fine. I got a free install kit with the stereo, but opted to buy this one based on the fact it had a shelf.... Only it doesn't. I can't swear that I used parts from both kits to install my stereo, I may have gotten them mixed up. But I believe it took both install kits to do mine... Maybe I'll drop it back down to 3 stars now that I've read my own review...

Has it all and fits well. I had to use the deepest faceplate depth to accommodate a modern aftermarket 1 DIN receiver in my 1985 Chevy s10 w/ AC. Looks as good as anything else, mounts sturdily, and doesn't creak, rattle, etc. The upside of buying this kit with way more than you need is flexibility and future random needs for plastic things! Never know when you might need one weird-ass plastic bracket to mount a relay or something.

Seems easy enough, even with poor instructions. But they sent me 2 right side brackets, poor QC on their side. In addition, you need to cut the faceplate if you have anything other than a 2 shaft head unit (do they even make those anymore?). Now I am stuck waiting for a replacement part to be shipped to me.
