Fitment is nice for double din, but the single din with the cubby in it was broken on arrival, luckily I didn’t need it.

Only needed the faceplate, metra included a lot of unnecessary parts. Should be able to choose b/w double din or single din kit. Faceplate was very easy to trim and install.

This trim piece does not fit correctly and leaves gaps between the adapter and the cars trim. It was relatively easy to install. The harness works great and sounds very good. I would recommend another kit

I was able to cut the middle trim bar with an exacto knife very close and looks great. I then filed about 1/8 on the top and squared the corners finished with a fine sand. Looks professional and my 4200nex faceplate comes off without issues.

I bought this for a double din. You have to physically BREAK a middle bracket out to fit one in here.. not impressed. Have bought many brackets from metra, this is the least pleasing one.

If you have a double din that has a moving face...you will have to file the top about 1/8 " ...it is tedious....because you will need to basically install it and try it first to get your line....I used it with a 4100nex from pioneer....took awhile to get it to let the radio move....and even when I was done it still hit a little

Good product . Fits very well. Only down side is if you are installing a double DIN unit you have to cut the center "rib" out but there is no relief or score line to make this easier. I had to use a Dremel tool to cut the rib but that makes a melted plastic burn mark which I had to sand smooth a bit. Other than that issue its a good product.

If you are missing your double din factory mounting brackets, this kit will not contain anything you can mount a double din with. it comes with a single din and compartment unit, and the only thing you will be able to use from this is the face plate, which is alsi in single din format until you break the thin middle seperator and file the tabs back a bit. I ended up mounting my double din dvd HU with 1/2 thick overlapped mats of rubber matting, works better than the mounting brackets lol.

Installed this in a 350z and only needed the border trim. The center divider was cut off with a pair of pliers. Fitment was great and made my aftermarket Head unit look OEM.My only gripe is: I wish Metra would sell just the border trim for people with double din headunits. This would cut cost for both the manufacture and consumer since it's such a small piece of plastic. (but then again they probably make a decent profit selling the whole kit regardless if you need only 25 percent of it) I am no tree-hugger, but I have to pretty much toss or store everything else included in the kit because I have no use for it. It's kind of a waste.Shipping from this vendor came at the estimated delivery time.
