Used in a retail store. Worked several years fine but later got hard to scan curved beer cans with silver paint (some Bud beer cans). The second scanner is still working fine. Replaced with a Symbol DS4308 which scans much faster and from farther out. Newer technology. I found it is best to scan reflective bar codes at a sharp angle with very little of the bar code perpendicular to the scanner (can turned downward, just catch the top edge of the bar code and it rings up).
