Didn’t work exactly like advertised. I finished my hat with scissors that actually did better. I will try it again if necessary but I feel like more comfortable with scissors.

Actually made of quality metal and has some weight to it👍. A little high priced but it should last me the rest of my hat wearing days.

First and foremost, do your research. Call your local western stores and ask for the service. Some would cut it for free if you purchased the hat there. Other would charge $$$ and that would determine if it’s worth buying the tool. For example, in Laredo Tx they started to charge $50 per hat. To me is definitely worth investing into the tool.As for the quality, it feel great, strong and cuts like butter. I cut all my 6 hats in less than 5 min….. it’s worth it to me in my location.

Could not have worked any better! Easy to use, and it did come with instructions! Made three perfect cuts on my brim, and all were 1/8". My hat came out just how I wanted, and looks great! I wish I had more brims to trim!

This brim trimmer is incredible and I'm kicking myself for not getting one sooner. BE ADVISED, however, that this is a trimmer designed for a hat that already has a consistent brim width all around. To trim a hat with a raw, uneven edge, you'll still need a rounding jack, but once you get that even edge, you can trim it down to length with this incredible tool.

Loved the product it did exactly what it is supposed to do. It tuned my cowboy Stetson with a four inch brim to a business Stetson with a three inch brim. The size cut is listed as 1/8 but it is more like 1/4. I do not understand why some people complained about no directions. You do not need any, just pull back and up on the blade release and slide the trimmer on the brim of the hat push forward and down on the blade release and push along and against the brim and it will shave the section of the brim off it is measured to do. Simple as that. The only negative I have about the item is it's a little over priced however it is still better then having to go out and purchase another hat because of a damaged or oversized brim.
