This hose cart is sturdy and well made. It is easy to handle and is great for gardens. My garden is pretty far from my house, I have a retractable hose reel mounted about half way between my house and garden. When I water the garden I have to run a hose to the retractable hose and connect an extra hose once I get to the garden. Then disconnect them and put them back. I will keep this at the garden so I can wheel it around as I need it. Everything about this hose cart is great for me personally I

Credit to the one star review with photos. Like they said, this hose reel is perfect in almost every way. We love it. It looks great, is easy to move around, was easy to put together, and is solidly made. The mechanism for rewinding the hose is clever. We took the same measurements as the other reviewer and they're right. The connector for the leader hose is only 3/8" wide, greatly reducing water pressure. We tested it before and after. We opened the hole to 5/8" with a drill and the water pressure is back to normal. It might even be better than our last hose reel.If you're up to doing it yourself, you can unscrew the piece on top of the connector, but the connector itself can't be removed. You will have to drill slowly into the opening and fish out the shavings. It wasn't hard, it just took time to open it up completely.I hope the seller sees this and upgrades the next version. All in all a great hose reel. The leader hose is also good quality but we'll be swapping it for a longer one. If not for the small hole, this would easily be five stars.

A little assembly needed but wasn't too complicated and can be handled by most anyone. Tubular steel frame with what looks like a baked on paint finish. I have nothing bad to say about it and imo it was just your average everyday hose reel. Cane with the leader hose and it hooked up without leaks. Held 100' of my hose no problem

This was shipped quickly and was easy to assemble -- and most importantly, is STURDY. I've had hose reels that were plastic and bent, everytime I pulled on it, or tried to roll up hose. This thing is a boss. Looks professional and much more expensive - has a beautiful powder coated grey steel frame that I'm probably going to seal coat and ensure it lasts. Really nice hose reel!

I was very much pleased with the product, looks great, nicely built. It was not a big deal assembling. All was good until I ran the water, the pressure was greatly reduced. I don’t know why, If you don’t mind the lower pressure, it will be fine.

If you buy just one hose cart, this may be it. The jointing hose has nice brass ends and includes washers. The reel coupling is aluminum and might benefit from a wrap of teflon tape, which you probably have already. There’s just a bit of assembly, but that really is just a few screws and a small hex wrench included. Assembled in under 15 min. There’s a basket and a crank handle to install, along with the hose guide. The parts are all metal, so if you have a plastic reel, get rid of it and replace with this one. Should be very durable traveling on flat-free tires.

Giving this cart anything other than a 1-star would be disingenuous. I was looking at past reviews when I came across one from nearly 2 years ago about the hose connection being too small. I figured it's been nearly 2 years, they must have fixed it by now... no, they didn't. The connection is still absurdly small restricting the water flow. That tells me they don't care about their products or their customers. I don't care how well the cart is made otherwise, of the few things they needed to get right, that is one of the essential ones. DO NOT BUY!!!

I've tried out 6 hose reels now - this Sunneday was the best in every way - size, build quality, limited bends in the hose feed line (many reels have multiple >= 90 degree direction changes on the hard feed line, each of which negatively impacts flow), a storage basket for attachments, solidly affixed attachment points ... all ruined by the water inlet port being restricted to 3/8" diameter, severely restricting flow at normal water pressures.I mailed the manufacturer asking if it was a mistake or if it was an insert that could be removed. I did not receive a response and returned the reel. I considered drilling it out but didn't want to risk ruining it without being able to see the whole internal structure. I stuck with a Yard Butler IHT-2EZ which has a smoothly transitioning feed line, and while the build quality feels inferior, it has a lifetime warranty.Hope this helps someone. Surprisingly difficult to find high quality hose carts.
