MicroSwiss does it again! This upgraded part is better than the Creality Unicorn system. The heater and heat break seem to do better than Creality. There's no clogging at all and the print quality is always fantastic! Fit wise it just drops right in with no problem, as if it was just meant to be. Functionality is pretty self explanatory- extremely easy to install, nozzles are swappable with other "volcano/unicorn" types. It is on the more expensive side, but it is definitely worth the money. You absolutely get what you pay for, but you don't have to worry about heat creep or your nozzles stripping out!

This was basically a drop in replacement for the factory hot end. Also, it allows for the use of better nozzles and cold nozzle swaps. The only downside is the nozzles are more expensive than the creality nozzles.

This is the wrong part for my printer so I gave it to my son and it works great and is an excellent upgrade for his ender. Good price and is working flawlessly.

It seems a bit intimidating at first to install but once you start putting it together, everything fits into placeThere was a small amount of stringing but with no supports, I will take that over the stock hot-end. This unit heats up really fast and seems to be doing its job. I was able to start printing quality parts in no time! Well worth it to buy Swiss Micro products!

I build and customize a lot of 3D printers. These Microswiss hotends are fantastic.

Microswiss makes goods stuff, no doubt. This hotend is no exception. Installation was not difficult, and I had it printing in no time. The benefits are that you have an all metal hotend capable of 300 degrees, and it drastically cut down on my oozing. There is a benefit of "easier" cold nozzle switches, but you need to buy the nozzles for this hotend for that. Luckily you can find them in normal brass, diamondback, or CHT. Other than the investment of having to buy new nozzles, it's a great upgrade to the CR-10.

standard silicone socks don't fit this hot end but works well regardless. for my use case this was perfect, so not that big of an issue.

First off, I have been an avid 3D printing fan for over 8 years at this point and have used a lot of different products from a lot of different vendors, and, so far at least, Micro-Swiss hasn't let me down and has always been good quality, and the FlowTech's have continued this. Basically, they print well, they are well thought out, they are sturdy, they don't leak, and, as they still use screws similar to a MK8 between the heat break and the actual hotend, you can actually change the nozzle without worrying about breaking them. As usual, this hotend came with everything you need to hook it up, has excellent directions with color pictures and clear instructions, and all the connectors are appropriate, etc. While I had been using a lot of Bambu clones recently, I am in the process of switching over the vast majority of my printers to use this style hotend, based on general performance, simplicity and a desire to keep a standard set of nozzles between my printers -- and I really like that they have both Diamondback and official Bondtech CHT nozzles available for use with these. The nozzles are also very easy to change and, even when screwed in cold and hand tightened, I haven't had any issues with leaks (which was one of the main issues that got me interested in these hotends in the first place). The only bad thing about these is that they are a bit expensive and so are the nozzles...but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
