I installed it myself. I did receive errors about the nozzle not heating initially, but found that I didn’t squeeze the butt splicers fully. I just stopped when it snapped and I needed to squeeze harder to get them to connect.After running the PID tuning, the 400 steps, and manually leveling the bed a few times, it was able to print with no issues. My husband and I are happy with the quality and speed of this hotend.Currently in the middle of a 3 day print and I can’t wait to see how that turns out!

I have bought two of these, one regular and one revo, just hoping that they would be better because they’re cool looking, wrong choice. They both broke and have clogging issues, and they are vastly over priced.

Fantastic performance once dialed in, let me start with that.I saw another reviewer mention smoking and you could see the -15 degrees. But in his other pictures take note that his butt connectors aren’t seated fully. You need to use way more force to cut into those thick wires than you’d expect, it’s the same issue I initially had.You need to do a lot of fine tuning, and use a good slicer. Measure your actual steps to make sure it’s as accurate as possible. The file they provide is 400, however my actual steps once measured ended up being 413.For newer Ender 5 Plus’s that come with the CL touch you’ll need to modify the provided self leveling unit or pre print one for the CL touch before you totally nuke your stock printer setup.

Installed it on my Ender 5 Plus following instructions downloaded gcode and flashed. Going through PID running. The hot end started smoking. It's not working all wire are fully in the end of butt connectors. This is the second micro swiss ng I run on and ender 5 plus.

Prints come out perfect every time. Nozzles are super easy to switch.I also upgraded the gantry to exoslides so i could print faster and not have to worry about the v-wheels wearing or getting stuck or something. I did have to upgrade the print cooling fan also because it prints so fast now!

This head has been used for roughly 200 hours worth of prints so I wanted to give it a review! First things first! The people who also reviewed this and complained about their BL touch getting broken didnt tune the bed properly and manually level it plus adjust their z axis offset. The guy complaining about the smoke literally doesn't know how a PID tune works. There can and will be machine material left that will smoke from the rapid heating and cooling to calibrate the hot end. Thats normal and should be a 1 time thing unless THEY installed something wrong. Thats on them! You need to read the instructions thoroughly when setting this up and it will work fine. I am using this on custom marlin firmware and have had literally 0 issues. My printer is fire and forget now! If you are hesitating about buying this dont be! My print quality has tremendously improved and I have saved money with how consistent this is. Ive had 0 prints fail in 200 hours and thats a pretty darn good average. Use high quality filament with no fear and make some awesome things. 3D printer go brrrr.

ok had this for about six months now main workhorse for my bussiness and this thing doubled my output and heats up wayyy faster than the old hotend this thing is pricy but dear got love this prduct especially now that i can do nozzle swaps when cold and less clogging issues and way better looking prints

Produit Made in USA et ça se voit.Assez chère mais de grande qualité. Un peu perfectible quand même pour la partie en plastique imprimée en 3D mais cela reste de haut niveau (j'aimerais bien savoir avec quelle imprimante 3D ils l'ont fait).La buse REVO c'est la grande classe surtout niveau démontage et remontage.L'extrudeur est aussi de la partie et à de la "patate".Un petit moins pour le maintien des câbles car en fait il n'y en a pas, c'est bien dommage pour un produit de ce niveau de prix. Pour le moment j'ai utilisé un collier Rilsan qui passe dans le trou de la gâchette en aluminium et qui retient le tout mais ce n'est qu'une solution temporaire.Pensez à re calibrer la sonde, ma carte mère (SKR Mini E3 V3) a cette fonction d'origine du coup cela a été facile à faire de mon coté.Tout marche correctement pour le moment mais je ne trouve pas que ma qualité d'impression s'est vraiment amélioré, j'avais l'ancienne tête Micro Swiss qui était déjà de belle facture aussi pour moi cela n'a pas été révolutionnaire.

Commander une connectique E3D en parallèle car ce n’est pas la même que celle de chez Creality et prévoir de modifier le firmware pour modifier le modèle de thermistance. Après je ne doute pas que ce soit vraiment un bon produit mais la où les autres direct drive de chez microswiss sont quasiment plug and play, celui là demande un bon travail d’installation.
