Easy to install and works great. Prints great too. I'm able to do TPU at normal speeds now too. With the original CR10S Pro setup I had to reduce speed to about 50% for TPU. Highly recommend as a simple upgrade to your printer.

Super happy with this extruder. You will not be disappointed… fits nicely and, dare I say, improved. Impressed with the super short filament path as well. Comes with everything you need. I love it when you get a replacement part and there’s no drama! I highly recommend this for your Creality CR-10s. 5 stars - purchase with confidence.

I own two CR10s Pro printers (one V1 and one V2). It was time to upgrade and I really liked the Microswiss NG Direct Drive because of the extremely short distance between the gears and the nozzle. I actually originally purchased one of these before they were marketed for the CR10s Pro V2. I had to use a non-official fan shroud that I found on Thingiverse. Someone had modified the shroud used for the Ender 3 and CR10. That worked okay, but the new official shroud modified by Microswiss is SO much better. It has a built in recess for the BL Touch and it seems they tightened up the shroud generally too. Made it a bit more streamlined. The DD for the CR10/Ender3 when compared to this new on is virtually identical. The only difference is the stepper motor has had some sort of revision. The central shaft visible from the top of the motor protrudes out ever so slightly on the new one. The only other change is the inclusion of a small printed part to mount your bowden tube where your old extruder used to sit. This will allow you to continue using the runout sensor. I haven't installed that as I generally try to plan filament changes for while I'm close by.Installation is not difficult, though I did have a bit of anxiety as I pulled my printers apart wondering if they would ever work again. You'll need to adjust your esteps to 400 after replacing the extruder and remember not to set your retraction above 1mm. I've been lucky a few times, but I did once have the filament jam and I had to tear everything apart. If you use slicer profiles, you'll be just fine. I'd give these extruders 10 stars if I could. It will come with a fully ready shroud which will work fine. Pictured is a custom printed shroud (printed in PTCG). It just has some higher heat tolerance. Microswiss has a link on their website to this file on Printables if you look at their 'downloads' section of the listing. One last thing I remembered. Because the nozzle is closer to the gantry than when stock, the brackets for my gantry were actually hitting the z-rod motors/brackets when I would try to 'home'. So I had to print some additional spacers to go below the silicon ones (or springs) so the bed would sit higher.

It was an easy install and wow what a difference from the original. Very well built and it just seams so much smoother. After adjusting the rotational distance/e-stops it prints great. Instructions included are very clear and precise on what you need to do to install it. A great upgrade.
