Defiantly more expensive than others but work the same and get covered in gunk just a quick. I feel this was a waste as I could have bought a couple brass at this price and have them last longer... Can't really comment on the longevity as haven't been able to used rough filament with this yet.

Prints just like the regular nozzle, but lasts a very long time. I've used ABS, PLA, PETG and TPU so far with this nozzle.

We work with hemp composite filament and it's not the easiest to print with. This nozzle helped reduce errors in our prints because of its wear-resistant properties. If you're planning to print for more than 24 consecutive hours and use abrasive materials, then we highly recommend Micro Swiss to reduce print errors due to clogging.

This is an excellent nozzle. I rebuilt the Extruder on my Prusa Bear and decided to pair this nozzle with a titanium heat break. I'm only printing PLA and PETG with this and I expect the nozzle to last longer than the printer. The print results are fantastic and the couple of blobs I've had didn't stick to it.

I had to replace my whole hotend (Prusa I3 MK2/s) and splurged for the E3D V6 Gold. The gold edition is OK (in hindsight not worth the money), but the hardened steel nozzle that came with it was a royal pain for me. I just never could get the temperature to stabilize. I expected some challenges moving from brass to steel, but not the headache I encountered. I finally decided to swap out the nozzle, and replaced it with this one. As others have said, this thing rocks. Incredible thermal conductivity since it's brass (but steel coated) and PLA extrudes smoothly and consistently. I'm still comfortable printing more abrasive filaments (GITD mainly) since the nozzle is steel-coated, but I don't have to monkey around with temp. Two thumbs up for this nozzle. Well worth the reasonable price given the extraordinary improvements.

It can be challenging to print nozzles with a diameter smaller than .4 mm, but this makes it much easier. You definitely need adjustments to the print settings (lower acceleration and higher retraction) as well as to the extruder itself, such as adding a silicone boot.It uses MK6 threads and therefore fits all hotends compatible with E3D nozzles.I haven’t used it long enough to see how much wear resistance it provides compared with E3D hardened steel nozzles, but it’s clear their milling is accurate and the plating makes the extrusion smooth and clean. While the upside is significant quality improvement, the most prevalent downside is simply the print time. At least twice as much as a .4 nozzle sliced at the same layer height. The max layer height without causing separation or gaps is .15mm.I’ll attach a pic of a print of this nozzle using wood filament. I also printed this same nozzle using a .4mm nozzle with the same layer height and it took less than half the time.

I decided to upgrade my nozzle to something a little better to print wood and glow in the dark more and I am not a big fan of steel nozzles. So far this nozzle is doing quite well. I notice a slight difference in my print quality. I guess its because there is a more consistent flow. I have printed wood and glow on this nozzle and they both performed great no clogs and no wear on the nozzle that I can see. It does stick out a little further then the normal nozzles but thats nothing a re-level can't fix. I like it is priced decent and is supposed to be built to last. I will give it a month or so and if it still holds up I will upgrade my other machines with the same nozzle.

I tried this nozzle on a whim - 0.25mm print width was the seller as I like to print out some exacting pieces, plus I was hoping that the small nozzle size will cut down on the stringing as I print exclusively in PETG. I have been pretty impressed with this part. My stringing is way down, it is easier to clean up the crud on the nozzle outside after a long print job. My print quality went way up and so did part transparency. The only reason why I could not put up the fifth star is that the thread is 1-2 turns too long for my Hexagon hotend. No big deal, just a bump in the road. Would I recommend this nozzle, yes with no strings attached. Will I be getting another one - yes.

Just installed this Micro-Swiss (.4 x 1.75) nozzle on my RepRap Prusa I3 with direct drive extruder. It immediately delivered an amazing improvement in print quality over the cheap nozzles I've been using. It totally cured the filament curling and sticking (to the nozzle) problem I was struggling with. PLA filament flows butter-smooth. Retractions are crisp with no oozing or stringing. I never realized a quality nozzle could make such a difference! Well worth the price premium in my opinion.
