There are no instructions in English, so it’s trial and error when it comes to how long to cook them or how much water to use.

There was no pin to poke the egg and it was NOT in English. Besides that. It's now in the trash.

Better punch at least 4-5 small needle holes at the ends of the eggs to release steam, or you'll get semi soft shelled egg debris blown inside your microwave, 2 won't do. Only fill the interior water to the top of the aluminum egg tray or it will overflow onto the microwave plate. Once I did that; it was working OK. Now to test how long for soft boiled vs hard boiled. Its not the same as with boiling them covered in water, your results will vary per the wattage of your microwave, average NEW ovens have 1000 watts, but larger microwave ovens may have 1200-1500 watts. don't let the steamer go dry, or you may get egg jerkey / leather.

This did not come with instructions. Well, maybe it did - the outside of the box had writing all over it in an Asian language or languages that I can't read.So I Googled "microwave egg boiler instructions", found a PDF for the Nordic Ware microwave egg cooker, downloaded it, followed those instructions, and 9 minutes later I had hard boiled eggs from the microwave. Easy peasy. Now: I did not add salt to the water. I have a Joi microwave single egg boiler that does tell you to add salt to the water, but the instructions I found side not day to add salt, so I didn't, and it worked great anyway. This does 4 eggs at a time, which really helps; I have one egg to eat and three to take to work, add to a salad, make deviled eggs, whatever. I use this thing at least once a week. It's fantastic. The only bummer is the eggs come out with the yolks ringed in green. But they taste the same so I don't really care. I'll try it with salt to see if it prevents the green-ringed yolks, then update this review.
