Habe es für unseren Welpen gekauft. Weich und kuschelig. Hat im Angebot 12 Euro gekostet. Für den Preis unschlagbar. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen. Unsere Hündin ist erst 11 Wochen alt. Noch ist es ganz.

I have 2 very old dachshunds that now must be crated at night. I used to have a house with a doggie door at ground level and my dogs, when younger, would sleep wherever they wanted in the house and use the doggie door during the night as they needed to. My new house does not have ground-level access and they can't use the outsode stairs at their old age = need to crate at night.Dachshunds are notorious for having the tiniest bladders of any mammal on the planet. They pee all night long. Copious amounts of weenie dog pee. I bought this crate pad because it seemed to be soft for their comfort and thick enough to have good absorbency. My previous pad would leak and drip when I removed it from the crate each morning to throw in the washing machine. Pee drip drops everywhere. This pad does NOT leak and drip when I remove it from the kennel. It IS very absorbent.I wash this crate pad daily and sometimes twice a day if I crate them to run errands during the day (I'm retired!!). This is the single most durable crate pad I've ever owned. All the others fall apart quickly at the seams from all the washing wear and tear. This crate pad is a single thick sheet of foam inside a nice soft durable cover. It retains its shape 100% after dozens of washings, unlike crate pads that have stuffing inside. Stuffed crate pads become very lumpy, with multiple areas of 0 stuffing when repeatedly washed. The stuffing moves around, resulting in a really bad pad. This crate pad retains its shape.I highly recommend this pad, even if you don't have pee-factory weenie dogs.

Happy dog, happy me!I just went through spending almost a hundred dollars on a dog bed from k9 Ballistics that was horrible quality, and that my dog preferred to sleep beside on the carpet. Pictures speak a thousand words on this replacement! I love that this bed is washable, and that it has great stitching to last. It is very soft and a nice thickness. Not super thick but a good 3 inches of thickness that does not whimp out and really supports. Our new puppy loves lounging on it as well when he is tackling his toys. It is also just a pretty bed. I love the blue and the cute paw prints! My big girl has been passed out for HOURS now, snoring away without a single budge, which is a genuine, true test of doggy comfort. I am so glad to have found a happy bed for her that gives us both what we want! Update! 1AM and my big baby has shifted once, and is dead to the world. YES! YES! YES!!!

I purchased this bed to go inside my pups new crate. It fits perfectly! I like how you can use either side (I went with the darker side to hide hair and dirt), the material is great on either side. And the thickness is also great as well. It's not super thick, but also not on the thin side. It took all of 5 seconds for my dog to walk in her crate and nap once I took it out of the package. Since she was a puppy, my dog has chewed up every bed and bedding we've put in her crate. I'm hoping this doesn't jinx it, but she hasn't laid a tooth on it yet. The only thing I would improve on is having a removable cover for washing. Otherwise it's a great bed for a great price.UPDATE:The day after I posted my review, my pup had to go in for a second surgery on her leg. While she rarely ever pees in her bed, she did that night (probably because she was totally drugged). Ugh... great, new bed full of pee. I washed in on the Sanitation setting and am happy to report it washed and dried great. It lost a little of the "new" softness, like when you wash a new blanket, but it's still soft and the stuffing didn't get all weird and lumpy. So I'm sticking with my original review and highly recommend this bed.

This is the second time I have purchased one of these, and the first is still in use. Last February my family greeted Beagle Bailey from Seattle Beagle Rescue. Bailey was almost 13 years old then. His owner had died, and he was grieving, and it must be said, also slightly grumpy toward Ox, the Oversized Beagle pup, who wanted to play too roughly with him. I was really just looking for something cheap because I figured we were just a way-station on his way to a "furever" home. So I ordered this because it would fit in a crate (he had to have a ton of medical stuff done), and once we got home I could yank it out of the crate and give him a cushioned place to lie on the floor by my chair.Well, of course Bailey grew on us--especially once medicated properly for incontinence and mood problems--and he's staying. There are three dog beds in the house, but guess what? He loves this one best. And so recently I realized why it is. A senior beagle--really any elderly dog with arthritis--doesn't want a super-soft bed, because they want to be able to turn around on it several times as instinct tells them to do. A very cushy dog bed makes it hard for an elderly dog to stay upright, but a relatively flat bed like this one is a stable surface for him to walk on. It's soft enough to cushion his old bones, but not soft enough to make his legs go out from under him.It doesn't hurt that it is easy to wash in the washing machine. (I don't know if it can go in the dryer, because I haven't tried. It air dries in about half a day or overnight, so there's been no reason for me to risk it.) As to reversible...well now, there's an attractive side and a plain white side. Let's think about this. Even if we towel them off when they come indoors in the wet months, who in her right mind is going to give her dog a white bed? No, the white side stays down and the blue side stays up. And that's fine. Our last child left the nest last month and I decided to celebrate by putting all my holiday wrapping supplies in her old room. Moved in a folding table to wrap on, added a comfy chair and table so I could sit down...but we needed two dog beds. I saw this one at the same bargain price as last time and I thought it was an obvious purchase. (I bought a softer bed for Ox, but I think he may prefer this one also. ) Unless this bed is discontinued or the price is raised dramatically, it will be my go-to purchase for a dog bed and/or crate liner any day of the week.
