I like the flexibility that it provides so that I can use tongs to flip food in the oven.However the flexibility means it's not completely heat-proof but for short quick tasks like taking things out of the oven, basting or flipping, this pair of gloves does the job well.I really like it.

A bit snug fitting for a large hand but flexible enough. Adequate heat resistance using kitchen oven. Not sure of suitability for outdoor grilling

I knew that these were not longer barbecue gloves. Indeed I wanted a shorter glove for baking and for removing the pot from the Instant Pot. However, the fingers are a bit tight and I have medium-size hands. Even the palms are bit skimpy.Heat resistance is excellent and the silicone beads provide a no-slip grip.Heat resistance and grip gets five stars.Fit gets two or three stars.Four stars overall seems about right.

Not the most heat resistant but stretchy enough you can get a smaller size that better fits the wife and it stretch enough for a fairly large hand. I’m 6’ 1” and can easily Palm a basketball and they stretch enough for me and not too bulky for the wife.I bought 3 different brands to replace a previous version and these are the best all around.

The gloves are heat resistant as you'd expect. I was afraid they might be too thick and bulky to handle small items. I was very pleased to find they fit my fingers snugly and allow me to handle small hot items with ease. My hands are average large male hands, not huge, but bigger than many (I worked construction). The gloves fit my fingers nicely and are the right length, with no excess material. The rubber grips help in handling things.

As far as dishwashing gloves? They don't sell my size at the local stores, so I have to order mine's from Amazon that are at least a size XXL because my hands are too big; otherwise it's a pain to slip off my hands when I'm working in hot water with normal dishwashing gloves. I stand at 6'4, not the biggest; but not tiny by any stretch of the imagination unless I'm posing in a group photo with Professional Wrestlers or NBA Players, then I would be the smallest...lol...This product works for me; but as far as for my old man whose hands are a little meatier than mine, this product is snug for him but by how short this product is (versus the other oven gloves)...It's very easy for him to slip on and off for the purposes of grabbing anything from the grill or the oven. I like this product because he can still cut most anything comfortably and work with hot items momentarily. I've seen a couple other reviews stating that the product was too big, whelp from my perspective it's too small (these people simply can't win with anybody); even my own mother noted that the product was a little on the bulky side, but she's happy with them...Overall, I'm a little more satisfied with this product than the previous for my folks when they asked for a pair of oven gloves similar to the black pair that I have and brought over...
