Battery did not hold charge right out of the box. Clearly defective with poor quality control. I spent more money on buying new components for the rest of the electrical system (controller, main harness, and motor) of my child's dirt bike because these low quality batteries made me think the underlying power issue was elsewhere. I made the mistake of thinking that brand new batteries would actually work well and hold charge.

I bought these batteries last year and they worked fantastic. I stored them indoors on a wooden shelf and they never saw the cold or rain. This year the batteries hold a charge for ten minutes of use and are not as good as the original batteries they replaced. Don't buy this junk!

I’ve had them for a whole summer, bought another set for the other mx650, lasted this summer too. Hoping they do well for next summer as well. Great price.

Our 4-5 year old MX650 has just been passed down from my older son to my younger son. It no longer takes a charge so I decided to swap out the batteries. Replacement is straight forward but know that the OEM batteries are soldered on. I was able to de-solder the old ones and solder in the new ones with out too much trouble (I had to add some new heat shrink tubing and hot glue). Hopefully these batteries last a while, time will tell.

I recently purchased the Mighty Max 12V 15AH battery for my Razor MX650 dirt bike, and I am extremely impressed with its performance. Definitely breathed new life into my sons MX650. It took some work to install. I cut all the old wires and bought crimp female ends. I feel strongly that Razor makes it difficult on purpose. Lots of screws to take apart with little room to get to. Still he says it runs far longer than it ever has. Over a full hour and still going strong. Not more speed, but a much longer run time. That’s exactly what I wanted.
