Wanted something simple to protect the PW kindle from smudges, oils, fingerprints, scratches, etc. This vinyl skin serves the purpose. I got this pattern because it was cheaper than the other ones. This is fiber skin so there is a texture to the vinyl, which helps with grip. I did not want the high gloss version so this was the alternate. There is still a shine but not glossy. The fiber texture on the pattern looks better in person than in picture. Next time though, I would get a black background image for my black kindle so it does not look as obvious that I have a vinyl on.Not gonna lie, it was hard to put the skin on perfectly if you are OCD about thing lining up. I spent a good 20 minutes on the front alone. The back does not cover completely, which is expected because of the curved backing. So edges and the four sides are exposed.The vinyl does have a sticky back. I was surprised because I did not want a regular sticker. It stuck to your skin, like really stuck to your hand. But the item is advertised as "low grip air release adhesive." Suppose to leave no residue when remove. I placed a small portion on the kindle and removed it to test, so far so good, it has not left anything sticky on the device and came off without problem. I ended up putting the whole thing on. Any air bubbles smooth out so easily, I was pleasantly pleased.Also, it is made in the USA.
