What I like about these plates is their size I’m not using them as plates. I’m using them as saucers for my white mugs that match them perfectly. They’re only 10 ounce mugs so they’re not very big but they’re wide on the bottom and they fit on these plates, perfectly as saucers you can never find saucers for a small mugs for serving tea or coffee I have gotten these three years ago and I just ordered more. They’re perfect. Also make great snack plates.

My wife had been mentioning for a while that she wanted some smaller dessert plates around the house, and I'm SO glad that I came across these! They're high-quality plates that have become a key feature in our kitchen. Here are some highlights:-MULTIPURPOSE: These plates look awesome for any occasion, whether it be a thrown-together breakfast, a fancier dinner, or the mini "Great British Bakeoff" competition that my wife holds with family and friends. They're especially well-suited for appetizers and desserts, with the plates' white sheen lending itself to food photos, if you're into that sort of thing!-MICROWAVE-SAFE: I've seen a few reviews that mention these plates having problems in the microwave, but that hasn't been our experience at all. We've put these plates into the microwave dozens of times in the 3 months since we bought them, and haven't had any problems. I'll come back and edit this review if that changes!-EASY TO CLEAN/DISHWASHER SAFE: These plates are also dishwasher-safe, which is a dealbreaker in our house! One of their best features is that, since they're so small, they fit unobtrusively into the small cracks left between the larger plates in the dishwasher and still get perfectly clean. That's a nice bonus for a dishwasher-crammer like me!-DURABLE: These plates have survived several meals with our toddler daughter, including several bumps and drops. They haven't chipped or cracked at all! We're surprised and impressed with their durability.Bottom line: We love these plates and will buy more if they ever run short or break (though the latter seems likely given the durability I mentioned above.) I'd highly recommend these plates for your kitchen, and they'd also make great gifts for any bakers among your friends and family!
