We were doing group lessons with a volleyball coach who only had 1 Molten volleyball cart. This made lessons hard since we (parents and athletes) needed to chase down and shag balls after each drill. I bought an extra cart so that we could quickly go from drill to drill and get more reps in.I wanted to get a Molten square cart since every volleyball club and school team uses Molten ball carts due to their durability... but I liked the value of the Mikasa square cart since it got good reviews and came with a matching nylon carrying bag that doubles as a 6 ball tube. (I really wanted the Baden cart due to the external frame, zip up cover, and roller blade wheels) but felt it was too expensive for my needs.)The nylon material for both the Mikasa basket and the carrying bag were similar and not as thick as the Molten. The Mikasa basket does not have a pocket on the side (whereas the Molten basket does.) It didn't seem as if the Mikasa basket or bag would last very long and would probably tear over time. However, the Mikasa frame was made of the same sturdy, aluminum alloy and had the same heavy duty wheels as the Molten cart. Fairly easy to open and close and pack up. I had an old Molten basket from a broken Molten cart that I put on the Mikasa cart and it fit perfectly! When I brought it to practice, I was happy to see that my Mikasa cart frame was exactly similar to the Molten cart that the coach had and now I had the best of both worlds -- a Mikasa cart with a much more durable Molten basket and a Mikasa carry bag to carry it in!

Been coaching volleyball for +20 years. Cart works fine (we bought 2, actually)... but it does NOT have a side pocket. Only ball cart we've ever had without a pocket. Super annoying.I would have bought a different brand if I had realized it was missing the pocket. :

I’ve only had this cart for a couple weeks, so can’t speak to durability but so far it seems great. Worked right of the box with no problems, easy to set up. Pretty light and easy to carry, good quality wheels and bag.

Well made, it will last for years. Other similar Tach carts are crap compared to these.

Excellent. Very easy to fold up/transport. Very lightweight, yet seems to be very sturdy. We have used it for about a month now, at least 3-4 times per week. It is awesome. Worth the money. Very satisfied.

Great, sturdy cart. Easy to set up and put away for busy volleyball practices and tournaments. The carry bag is also strong. I have had trouble keeping the strap of the bag intact with other bags. So far, this one has lasted through many trips and I can be pretty rough on it.

Just got my new Mikasa Square Volleyball cart form Wayfair. It arrived 2 days earlier than the estimated delivery date, so I am extremely happy with Wayfair. The box was slightly damaged, but it did not affect the product.I previously purchased a Tachikara square volleyball cart. It was junk, so I returned it. It was unstable, flimsy, cheap and prone to tipping. Plus, the material they use is just crap. I still have a Tachikara hammock style volleyball cart. I have had it for 18 months. It is also prone to tipping, especially since 2 of the casters don't roll very well and never have. It's also cheaply made, but they used better material for the hammock. It takes a while to setup, but I think that is to be expected with hammock style carts. Now I have this new Mikasa. It's a square aluminum frame, has big casters, the material feels a little like rubber (I hope it's durable), and is spring loaded so it pops open in a second. Plus, the snap strap locks it in place for storage making it easy to store in the carry bag. This is 10 times better than the Tachikara I just returned. It's extremely stable, easier to setup, rolls better, and has thicker and aluminum framing.I have heard the Molten's are even better, but Mikasa had the better price. If I have to buy a new one in a year I will certainly post more about this one.
