I purchased this bowl for its impressive shape and weight. Also, the ridged pattern reminds me of my stemware and would co-ordinate beautifully. Great for fruit but also for floating candles and water lilies.

I was a little confused when ordering this because it said I ordered a serving tray, but the photo attached was a bowl. For the serving tray description, the photo attached was a vase and for the vase description, there is a photo of a rectangular serving tray!! I I was hoping to get the rectangular serving tray which is the name of the item I ordered, but instead I received the footed bowl. Still confused, but nonetheless, the bowl is beautiful with a great weight to it. It is very pretty on my glass dining room table and I plan to put some green apples in it for decor. This comes in a nice Mikasa box and would make a great gift.

This glass bowl was acquired through Amazon Vine.I was interested in the product because of the Mikasa brand. This bowl is no exception to the quality I have come to appreciate from the Mikasa brand. It's elegant, will display nicely anywhere, whether as a decorative piece or in a practical application as a fruit bowl.And at just over five pounds, it is a sturdy, sturdy bowl. Another quality I appreciate when it comes to Mikasa products!

I love Mikasa. The style is always on point and the quality is always fantastic - this bowl is no exception. I ordered this because I needed a nice serving bowl. My issue is this bowl is so lovely that I'd hate to use it in that way. It seems it should be more decorative/art than something you put mashed potatoes in! With that said, it would function well for any use. The bowl is heavy crystal, though, so likely not something you would use for every day use if you choose to use it as a serving bowl.
