Desired light weight, low cost practice/warm-up mute for trombone and flugelhorn for travel. The pitch distortion was excessive when inserted in King Liberty trombone and the mute was unusable. Students should avoid at all costs as it will cause them to give up learning their instrument! Somewhat less distortion in flugelhorn, but the volume disqualifies this as a practice mute. Too loud for hotel room practice. Item is to be returned.
