I bought this for the helm on my sailboat for a year long Caribbean trip. It is really nice. I especially like it because it does not collect water and allows great air circulation when it is humid. I'd buy another in a second if this one ever wears out.

Added these seats to a mid-90's 15' Boston Whaler Sport. I got older and tired of no back support. Seats are too large to use with a swivel in this particular boat's bench seat, and that's not a problem for me. You can see from the photo that there not a lot of room for these seats in this boat. Need to measure and make sure they will fit your particular configuration. Also, you see from the picture, I mounted the seats on "Wise" John Boat Seat clamps (also from Amazon), just wasn't ready to drill holes in seats. I wish I could find the seat clamp in stainless steel since we live on the Gulf Coast. I also ran a 1" wide nylon cam strap thru the seat clamp and under the seat, this was an effort to keep the seat with clamp from "twisting" off the fiberglass boat seat. I have used boat 4 times with no problem. If the seat clamps do not work out, I will simply bolt the seats directly to the fiberglass bench seat using four 1/4" SS bolts. The seats fit and finish is great, but would not expect less, since the price is greater than I intended to spend. I expect to get years of use and enjoyment and have no regrets with this purchase.

Best saltwater seat,dry fast mesh,adjustable.this item was so good it's off the market.they have cheaper seat more money.Best bet is to try to find an older millennium seat for saltwater.best seat for passengers.

I had bought a Wise seat to use on my center console bay fishing boat and it immediately started rusting. So, I bought this seat because it is designed for saltwater use. It certainly is...no issues with rust...but they forgot to consider making the snap on the strap salt proof. Within two trips, salt had corroded the the cap on the snap and it busted. It's not a critical part of the seat, but if you are going to advertise a product for saltwater use, every part of the product should be able to withstand that environment. And, this seat is not by any means inexpensive. It's not unreasonable to expect the entire package to be high quality.

I had my doubts until I tried mine yesterday the first time. I had my wife try it and now she wants one so I had to order a second one. The seats are worth every penny. The back can be adjusted through a seat strap. The only minor complaint easily fixed with a little oil was some squeaking at the hinges. If you have back problems like me this thing provides the best lumbar support ever.

Purchased on behalf of an uncle who prefers not to shop online, so I ordered it for him. He liked it enough to have me buy a second one. They're relatively easy to mount yourself but they don't ship with the brackets that appear in a couple of the pictures. Not a huge deal, actually better in his case because he wanted them mounted a little differently but you should be aware that they don't ship with the brackets. The seat looks to be really nice and well made. Actually a really good product.I'm dinging it one star, not for the product but for the delays I had. Might just have been bad timing but when I ordered the first one it was supposed to be in stock. Turns out it wasn't. Then there was about a two and a half month delay on new inventory. Even the second one, though it shipped much quicker, took a little more time than expected. I ordered from two different vendors and both were responsive to emails, but the inventory issues and delays were an annoyance. The seat itself though, pretty great.
