Ideal for Air and Water hoses, I'm converting my Air hoses from screw type clamps to these compression type Ferrules, they look neat and they don't catch on anything as you wind the hose in.

great for properly crimping a hose ...I cheated and didn't use the right crimper but made do so I didn't have to buy yet another tool !! a little tap with a hammer on the corners/edges and it was smoooth.

These work well as ferrules for tool handles and similar. They're extremely affordable. They're stamped with a number or similar, but it can be sanded out on the lathe. Looks very nice when polished. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Milton is a name I trust. What I need help with is why one size has a shipping fee and another does'nt when ordered from the same site. Approximately $6.50 for a box of 10 plus approximately $4.50 shipping for size 9/16" with tax over $12.00 ($1.20 ea.) while the next size up is 64 cents for a box of 10 and no shipping fee, a total of 6.5 cents each (with tax).

Don't like having a 50' air hose and want two 25' hoses? Then you need these. :)I have had luck crimping them with my hydraulic hexagonal wire crimper if the hose fit is good, but I also have a Mastercool crimper made for these ferrules that can compress them further.Anyway, worm gear hose clamps have no place on hoses that you may handle. The tails are just too dangerous. Ferruies FTW!

The ferrules work great, shipping sucked took about six weeks from the time I ordered to actually receiving them.
