I’ve since put a couple thousand staples through this thing and it working out great. One issue I have noticed though is that it stops stapling when there are about 6 staples left in the strip, but I just save the few left and end up using them with the other staples I’ve saved from when the staple gun stops firing when it gets low..

I am a fan of Milwaukee tools, so when I needed to install a carpet runner on a flight of stairs, this was my first choice. Awesome performance, excellent tool. The battery (one I already had; this comes as the tool only) was hardly fazed by the job; one battery should last a whole day. It is a little heavy, but it it powerful and consistent.

Castle Distribution Co had a tool I was looking for, I order it on the 6, and that order said it would be received on the 19/20th got it on the 13th. happy with the price and the cheapest I could find on amazon and a week early thanks to Castle Distribution Co.

Bought it to drive 1/4 to 1” length staples in the floor boots and to hang 30 ga joist liner in hvac application. Tools been used daily for over a year now without fail. Usually using 1.5amp battery to cut weight because stapler is a little heavy with 5amp. Has no issue driving through light tin into rough framing and 3/4 flooring. As a sheet metal worker it’s a huge time saver which makes the 378.00 price tag worth it for me as well as the replacement staples are relatively cheap. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the safety tip doesn’t seem to like to much angle orbit hangs up while you’re trying to staple floor boots.

Honestly this has a mix between my experience with this tool as well as the use of the high output 8hr batteries. I honestly couldn’t convince myself to spend hundreds of dollars for batteries and narrowed one from a friend. That battery last ear 8 hours of unscrewing screws pretty much constantly and this tool did the complete trim of my place without any jams or hiccups.Only con I can think of is that the staple depth adjuster isn’t very sensitive. Pretty much had to go completely the other direction to get it to sink the staple flush with the board.5/5 highly recommend but get the 1/2 inch version if you can for more viability with materials
