Milwaukee m12 is a fantastic item. The m12 is substantially lighter than the m18.I wished it had the quick connection for switching heads

I use this thing for sanding, removing caulk, removing grout, and various cutting. I do wish the battery life was a bit longer but I guess you can't always get it all.

I have not used another brand of this type of tool so I don't have anything to compare it to. It has a variable speed dial to speed up or slow down the blade. It vibrates a bit and makes your hands tingle if you use it for a while. It is loud too. If you own one, you will find a use for it. We were on a job that we had to remove some tape that was epxoyed into the floor. This tool saved the day! It did what no other tool could do. When cutting wood, it takes a little patients to get a nice straight line. This tool is a nice addition to your tool collection and you will find several uses for it. The blades are a little spendy, look for three pack, they are less expensive.
