The idea is better than the usefulness. Personally love the depth but my oscillating tool cuts much better and easier to cut straight than this is.

So I really want to give this 3 1/2 stars as 4 seems too high but 3 seems too critical.Let's start with the positives. It does what it says it does, it cuts drywall and is safe around pipes and electrical wires. The tip of the blade is a blunt point and when used in the proper saw only protrudes a small amount from the backside of the drywall. I have tested it intentionally against ABS, copper and PEX pipeing and against Romex wire with verry favorable results. You can definitely see that you hit against the pipes as it will leave scratches at most. And the Romex it just pushes out of the way.Now for the negative. To make this blade work correctly you need a recip saw with a short stroke less than or equal to 7/8" so that basically means one of the smaller one handed recip saws only. Otherwise you will have a problem with the blade being completely pulled back past the guard and the work causing a potential for the destruction of the blade or damage to your work surface. Next because of its design to prevent you from cutting anything other than the drywall the "teeth" are only on the side in the center and I would only count as 3. So it does plunge and it does cut but it's SLOW. I think this is why they say not to use it on 5/8 drywall (it will cut it but it's a struggle). And maybe it's just me but I feel like the blade wears out quicker than I'd expect it to.All in all I'm glad I keep it in my bag for those times I want the piece of mind but it is not the first blade I reach for when opening up a wall or ceiling.Did I mention it's made in the USA. Just food for thought for those who care.

This blade is the answer to working with gypsum board. It's quick and easy to use. I like it better then using a router in my opinion. It makes less of a mess for one thing. It's safe also...no sharp edges.

This works well on walls. Ceilings it's a lot of dust in your face even using a vacuum. Now if you know nothing is in the wall or Ceiling or know how to cut the pruning Sawzall blade works the best on drywall

I was skeptical about buying this new tool after I had wasted so much money on other so called multitool attachments that allowed for effortless drywall cutting. However, after watching a YouTube video I heard the guy say that not only did this thing cut but it also didn't cut wires. I had to try it out and the legend are true. I feel very safe and confident when using this to cut into drywall. It's strong enough to cut drywall but not enough to cut wires or cables. Great job To Milwaukee!

I bought this for occasional use to cut in old work boxes and trim rings. It works as expected and is not sharp in point or teeth, with is great for not stabbing the painted wall or anything else that the tool might accidentally come in contact with. It cuts just deep enough to make a clean cut, but not too deep to hit wiring or other things in the wall. It turns well enough and is not flexible, which is a good thing for cutting sheet rock. I would recommend it.

This is absolutely a great product. It's not for fine work but man does it cut quickly (and pretty well for a sawzall). It really does cut in any direction and seems to last
