I disliked that they were slightly shorter than other crimps, other than that they were fine.

Alright, so first off I use these to attach loops to my crab snare cages. I also use it to connect the leader to/from the cage. They’re the perfect size for .065in (1.65mm) weed-whacker line which is what I use to craft my snares. They’re tight enough that, once crimped, they hold the line nice and tight, and loose enough that you have a little bit of wiggle room to play with before the final crimp. They’re also thick and sturdy enough that I’m able to use my wire cutter/diagonal cutters to crimp them without worrying about cutting through the crimp itself.Overall I’m extremely satisfied with this product and these crimps will forever be my go-to for crab snare crafting, or at least as long as they’re available on amazon.The only complaint I have is that I sometimes get a crimp or two that has been cut too short (approx. 1/3 the regular size) which leaves me with an unusable crimp but it’s really not a huge deal. I just wish their quality control was a little more on point when inspecting the final product. But, again, it’s not a huge deal. The quality of these crimps more than makes up for the VERY occasional error in QC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Lastly, for anyone looking for crimps for their crab snares, I’ll also post a couple pics of my snares so you can see 1) how I use these 2mm oval crimps and what they look like on there, and 2) my snare design that pulls me up 15+ Dungeness per hour on a good day.

These aren’t quite 2mm. I used them on 1.8mm mono and it was quite a squeeze! Otherwise they seem fine.

Low profile 1 crimp sleeves... These are perfect for what I needed them for.... Duck decoys....
