I tried a couple different line sizes...30# and 50# mono and they both held for me. But they are dry, and the real test will come when Moby Dick is yankin my line in the water. But, if all goes as well, as I think it will, I will give it more stars with my update.

Have used these for years, exact size for 50lb mono, so tight have to cut the line at an angle, no failures.

I like these much better when making up 50lb test leaders for catfish than the single barrel copper sleeves I was using before.

This are excellent crimp sleeves, bought some a few months ago, and just recently bought some more, have not lost a fish with them so far, the ones I got were double barrel, but I think they should work the same as long as you use a crimper tool.
