They light easily because they are so dry. The fire starters are a nice extra to have especially if the wood you are using is not as dry as these. For the quantity you receive I feel these are very overpriced. Still handy to have when you really need them.

excited to order because thought size was perfect for a small rocket stove i have out. These 5 inch blocks were perfect. Have to question the kiln dried process because as they burned the wood would snap and crackle and even popped letting out a good amount of embers each time.

I love it. Sitting on my patio with my table to solo stove drinking Manhattans with my son and just talking.......funny how burning wood can give you a moment to remember. Now its a regular thing for my son and me

This wood smells awful! It has a chemical smell to it that lingers and creates a ton of black smoke/ash.
