Made Red Velvet cakes first with boxed cake mix. It does come with a recipe book too. They are about the size of a donut. Easy to use.

We're on stupid keto and this works great with our vanilla keto cake mix. It made about six little cakes which killed both of our tea party cake and donut cravings. I can only imagine what you could do with white flour and sugar. Go enjoy. Have one or two for us!

I got this somewhere else on clearance after valentines day on a whim. I used it to make a standard box mix. Used as instructions suggested and cooked about 8 minutes or so and cakes were perfect and held shape. If you overfill it just takes longer to cook in the middle and not as defined but you can use the little holder to pop it right back in. Can't wait to try other things in this!

Seriously, though, this is a great little appliance. I have never made any homemade recipes for it, but I buy a regular box cake mix. Use just a little of your favorite oil before heating up. Then measure out 1/4 cup of the cake mix add 2 Tablespoons of your favorite milk and Wala, you have a tasty little warm cake in a few minutes. This thing has helped me cut back on my sweets. If I had a regular cake sitting around I would take too big of a piece, or two this way I only have a little cake which cures my desire for sweet cake so it helps me cut back. And it’s fun, but it isn’t a toy so not for kids to use by themselves. Love it!

This is a nice wee maker. It cooks up fast so you can make a few pretty quick and holds a great shape. No timer so you need to keep an eye on how long. The wee handles to help lift it out can get very hot so I used oven mitts.
