This works great for my needs. I have a TV that would occasionally lock up so I would have to unplug the TV and plug it back in to reset it. This makes it easier as I can remotely disconnect the power and turn it back on achieving the same as physically unplugging it. Great build quality and functions perfectly.

This is a perfect and easy to use remote controlled switch and prevents any accidental touches. The setup is easy and I use it for the tube light in the living roon where not all the sockets are connected to the switches. The size could be a little small as this is just a remote and is as big as an IPhone Mini.

I got this wireless light switch kit to control a lamp in my living room, and it's been a real help. I like that the wall switch is removable—I just stuck it on the wall with the included adhesive, and it works perfectly. The 100ft range is more than enough for my place; I can control the lamp from anywhere in the room, or even the kitchen. The setup was super easy; I just plugged the outlet in and paired the remote. It's great for when I'm already in bed and don’t want to get up to turn the light off; and the remote is small and easy to find, so I don't have to search for it. I'd say it’s a pretty useful product 👍; I may get another one for the other lamp. This little gadget has simplified my life—a small win, I'd say.

Worked perfectly, I liked how it came with hardware and double sided tape to attach the switch wherever I needed. Definitely would buy again if I need anything like it.

These don't work correctly. I bought 2, both have the same problem. Either button on the toggle switch turns the outlet on/off, doesn't matter which signal is sent, it just switches on/off. I've actually scanned the 433mhz signal from the remotes, it's two different ones. Both can be used to just toggle, nothing else, so if you want to make sure something is on, or off, by sending the signal multiple times, there's no way to know without actually looking at it to see..useless!

I have a fan setting back of woodstove and when stove gets hot turn it on with switch I mounted under my computer desk. When stove is cooling down, can turn fan off. Saves getting up.Sure be good for lot things, remote lamp or whatever. To set up, plugged it in outlet, plugged fan into it. Pulled out the little plastic strip keeping battery in remote from making contact. Pushed on button. And away it goes. About as simple as it gets. Now may use this for something else, got an Inkbird universal thermostat for another purpose, but think it would work for turning on and off the fan. But for now this does the job and at least I dont have to get up to turn fan off and on.UPDATE: Yes it still works fine for the fan behind the wood stove. BUT I just tried it for light in an adjoining room. I had put up an LED light that came with a remote, yes had to run an extension cord cause the wiring to ceiling light is dead (its an old house), but found I couldnt just double tape it to wall as a switch, it has to be held and pointed directly at the light. Major hassle. So I tried this switch. plugged the extension cord into this. Yep, it will turn on the overhead light from where I had switch attached to leg of my computer desk. Yep, next time I make an Amazon order, will buy another, that happy with it. Probably others that work, but I know this one does.Hmm, one potential problem, wonder if the signal is same on all of these. I dont want to turn on the light and have the fan come on or vice versa......

I have an older home without any installed lighting or lamp outlets in the master bedroom, and as a renter I don't have any capability to explore a wiring project. I ordered this item to give myself the ability to turn a lamp on and off at the room's entrance as most would expect to be able to do.The setup could not be simpler. Plug it in to the wall, plug your thing into it, pull the tab on the remote's battery door so the batteries work, and press the buttons. If you want, attach it to the wall. You could keep it by your bedside if you wanted.Strangely, but I'm sure for an important engineering related reason, the switch is actually a shell covering two distinct buttons which don't appear to be separate, but they are both on-off switches for the same outlet receiver. If you press the either the top or bottom of the switch, you get a solid clunk and the outlet provides power to the plugged in item. Press either the top or bottom button to turn it off. I don't know why it works this way, maybe in case you install it upside down, or so you don't have to explain it to people trying to operate it.It just works! It includes wall anchors and screws or double sided adhesives to attach it to the wall, and instructions on how to properly fit the wall plate using the anchors if you choose to do it that way. If the adhesive fails, I will know I used it enough to justify mounting it permanently. The switch can be disassembled for battery replacement while the wall plate remains attached so you don't have to bust out the drill. There is not a line of sight requirement between the outlet and the switch, in case that was of some concern. The wall outlet connector sticks out sideways a bit so it doesn't interfere with the other normal outlet.I'll update this review after the included internal battery dies on the switch so we know how long to expect it to go.Honestly for improvements, maybe offer something with a second remote? I don't know if you can pair multiple outlets to the same switch, or how the setup might behave if you purchased two of these and intended to use them near each other, but being able to use multiple switches for the same outlet is always a convenient option to have.
