Someone said that this little unit couldn't power devices if it was charging. It might be true if you exceed what the charger itself (12v / 2.? A) gives the box. It is currently powering a network switch (12v /1 A) and a USB camera (5v / 500mA) right now. Works either plugged in or unplugged/out of power. I wanted this to also power my HDHomeRun box but that one is a center positive and doesn't seem to turn on.

I have two routers plugged into the UPS, unplugged the UPS for 5 minutes and to my surprise it only went down one light! I would believe that it would last 20 minutes without power.I would recommend this!

It works for around 12 hours, which is good in a blackout

I have a cellular router and a power company that isn't super reliable. This is the perfect battery backup to keep my router and phone connected and ride out these small outages that frequently happen. Rather than running a giant UPS system just to keep the internet and phone up (which will beep and scream when off AC power) - the boxes connect right to this battery backup and they run flawlessly and most importantly run silently when the AC power is off. Now when the power goes out (thanks to my laptop battery as well) I can keep working throughout the day with no issue at all. Calls stay connected - internet stays up - and no one knows I just experienced a blink or an outage. Would easily mate up with any router - and I highly recommend you add this to you internet solution.

I great little UPS to have so that your router doesn't reset due to a power outage.I even had the opportunity to test it as i had a power outage happened.Kept my router and some LED strips going until the power came back around an hour later. It also feels well built and i hear no "electronic" noise out of it while plugged in.I would highly recommend this for people living in area that may often receive blackouts and such.

This is a rechargeable battery, not a UPS. You cannot is leave it plugged into the wall and plugg d into the device you wish to power.

My home router controls all my smart devices, Wi-Fi, and TV and also controls my home phone landline. Yes, I know most people seem to be getting rid of landlines but when you have had a phone number for so long it's hard to get rid of it.If ever we have a power outage we lose everything including the phone. It then seems to take forever for the router to boot up again and get my Wi-Fi back.I thought that having a small UPS for my router would solve a lot of these issues and it sure has.The UPS battery backup arrived well-packaged with a lot of stuff. It comes with its power adapter and a collection of tips that will fit almost any device you would need it for. There are 3 cables included to connect from the UPS to your device. On the UPS there is a UPS-A output as well as a 5V, 9V, and 2 12V DC outputs. My router is 12V DC and the black plug fits it perfectly. I was able to unplug the original adapter for my router and plug my router into the UPS. It was so simple to do and worked perfectly. Now when we have a power failure I will still have my Wi-Fi and my phone. You can plug more than one device into this UPS at a time. It has safety protections that protect from voltage fluctuations, overcurrent, temperature, short circuit, over-discharge, and overcharge. The size is small but it does have a 15000 mAh battery pack so you can get hours of power when you lose your power.I am very happy with this mini UPS. It gives me peace of mind knowing that even with a power outage I do not lose connection with the outside.I plan on getting more of these to use with my security camera system. The price of this is very reasonable and I do recommend it.

The item itself seems to be well put together however for my particular set up, it will not do me much of a favour.I am currently on Fiber and my modem is a 2 pin 120V plug. My Home Automation is a Hubitat Elevation C7 powered by USB Micro. My ASUS router is a DC router - but.....it has the DC barrel into the back of the router....not the UPS.In order to deploy this I would need multiple cabling sets that are not easy to source readily and to ensure they are the appropriate center pin positive or negative and provide the necessary output to all items.I like the idea of this but its a miss for me in my network environment.
