Whatever the sprayed on coating is already flaking off right out of the box. When turned on the smell was absolutely nuts, like burning rubber.

This mini heart-shaped waffle maker has a cute shape for celebrating Valentine's Day or just making cute heart shaped waffles. I like that it is a smaller size and can be used with a lot of interesting foods, not just for making waffles. We have been having a blast using this to create some really unique and some very yummy creative foods from videos over winter break. It heats fast and cooks fairly evenly when not overly stuffed. It is good for portion control items too, especially with the compact size of this particular waffle maker.
